We always celebrate Mother's Day a week early because our mom likes to avoid the crowds, so this past weekend we took mom out to dinner at The Crush House at Gervasi.
It was a lovely time and we love her tons!
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!
We love Lainey Wilson here at WQMX and cheer her on through all her accomplishments. She's had the wind at her back in scooping-up awards, partnering with big brands like Levi's, appearing everywhere from talk shows to Yellowstone, and blowing the roof off of every venue at which she performs. To say we're excited to have her at The Country Fest 2024 is a total understatement.
With that, something new has come up for Lainey; she's opening her own bar! That's right- she's teamed up with the same organization behind the bars of Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, and Morgan Wallen to open her own downtown Nashville destination. T.C. Restuarant Group is planning on the hot spot to be at the location formerly occupied by FGL House.
That seems sensible to me. It should be relatively quick and easy to redo the place in Lainey's vision. One of the toughest parts, I bet, is figuring out what she'll want to call the place.
So, here's where I'll throw it to you! What do you think Lainey's bar should be called?

Busy weekend...
Started with Free Comic Book Day and went to Carol & Johns Comics in Kamm's in Cleveland. They had all the superhero's from Spiderman, Wonderwoman, lots of Star Wars Characters and Ghostbusters... The line was long but everyone was having fun. Hopefully you stopped at a spot...
Then hit up National Design Mart's 26th Anniversary One Day Sale... again the line was long but moved quickly and plenty of savings all thru the store!
Caught most of WWE Backlash... and hit up a friends Quatro De Mayo Party!
Sunday was my son's soccer match...
It was busy but fun. Hopefully you enjoyed your weekend.

Congratulations go out to Lainey Wilson who is celebrating her fourth solo number-one single, "Wildflowers and Wild Horses." The song took a big jump from number-six to land at the top of the Mediabase country singles chart. Lainey also has three number-one collaborations with Cole Swindell ("Never Say Never"), Hardy ("Wait in the Truck") and Jelly Roll ("Save Me").
After waiving his right to appear in a Nashville courtroom on May 3rd, Morgan Wallen is now set to stand before the judge on August 15th to address felony charges of reckless endangerment. Morgan's attorney confirmed that he would be present for the August date.
