Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus's memoir, Shotgun Angels: My Story of Broken Roads and Unshakeable Hope, hits shelves this month.
Jay says, “In Shotgun Angels, readers will hear never-before-told stories and get a glimpse into what it was like for me coming from Columbus, Ohio, my journey to Nashville. My ultimate goal is that the book will encourage people that no matter where they are in their lives, they can find hope, comfort and strength in their faith.”
The book comes out on April 30th.
Thomas Rhett releases his fourth album, Center Point Road, next month.
He says the project is inspired from Center Point Road in the town of Hendersonville, Tennessee, where he grew up.
The album features collaborations with Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini and Jon Pardi and it comes out on May 31st. Thomas is set to kick off his tour next week and he will be at The Country Fest on June 22nd.
Justin Moore to perform on Memorial Day…
Brantley Gilbert is going on tour…
Justin Moore will perform at the 15th Annual National Memorial Day Parade on May 27th in Washington DC. The parade and his performance will air live on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. It will also be broadcast to Americans serving overseas. Justin will also be performing at The Country Fest on Friday, June 21st!
Brantley Gilbert kicks off his Not Like Us tour on June 20th in Cincinnati.
Michael Ray and Lindsay Ell will be his openers on the run. And while his stop at the Country Fest is not technically listed as part of this tour, he will be headlining The Country Fest on Friday, June 21st!

Brett Young is having a girl…
Luke Bryan will be a part of the NFL Draft in Nashville. He'll be part of the live coverage on April 25th on ABC.
Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw are also taking part with free performances. Tim will take the stage on April 26th and Dierks will perform on April 27th.
It's going to be a girl for Brett Young and his wife Taylor.
The couple made the big announcement on social media, with Taylor tossing Brett a ball filled with pink dust.

Riley Green has his first #1…
Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn announced that they are expecting their first child. He took to Instagram to say, “It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!! But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! KB3. I’m gonna be a daddy.”
Congratulations go out to A Thousand Horses frontman, Michael Hobby and his wife, Caroline as they are expecting their first baby.
They shared their big news with People and the baby is a girl who will arrive in September.
Riley Green has officially scored his first #1 song. There Was This Girl is at the top of the Mediabase Country Singles Chart this week. He took to social media to thank country radio, his record label, his co-writer, and the fans. He mentioned that in just one year he went from a guy in Alabama framing houses to a guy with a number 1 song. Riley will be at Blossom with Brad Paisley on August 2nd.

Jason Aldean’s new tour has some new guests…
Carly Pearce and Michael Ray are planning their upcoming wedding and she claims he has 2 jobs- to look nice and say yes.
Carly recently said, “We’re pretty set. My mom and I are doing it ourselves. It’s actually been really good. His only concern is that he is still invited the day of the wedding.”
It is not clear to us at least what date the couple picked for their big day, or if Michael got a say on that, but we do know Jake Owen will perform.
Jason Aldean is gearing up to hit the road for his 2019 Ride All Night Tour next month with Kane Brown and Carly Pearce. He and his wife Brittany have a different plan for this tour. They plan on bringing their 2 kids, 16-month-old Memphis and 2-month-old Navy with them. The whole crew will be at Blossom on August 9th.
Justin Moore's album is on delay...
Songland is coming to TV...
Justin Moore’s new album Late Nights and Longnecks is said to be his most country sounding album to date and fans are excited to hear it, but they will have to wait a bit longer to do that.
Justin recently shared on social media that this album, his fifth, will be released on July 26th, not later this month like originally planned. No real explanation was given, other than suggesting the new date ties in better with summer, because well- it is in the middle of summer.
Another talent show is coming to TV near you!
It is called Songland, and I will say the concept is a bit different this go round. Songwriters compete to get their song recorded by top artists. Set to appear already are Kelsea Ballerini and Old Dominion.
The show premieres May 28th on NBC.

Brett Eldredge to celebrate the 4th of July in Nashville…
The guys of Old Dominion- Matt, Trevor, Geoff, Brad and Whitt are having a great week. First they won the ACM Award for Group of the Year, their current single “Make it Sweet” made it to the top 5 and then they celebrated Michael Ray’s current #1 hit “One That Got Away” which Matt and Trevor co-wrote.
Nashville has one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations in the United States, and Brett Eldredge will headline the event. Dylan Scott is also going to be there and the Nashville Symphony will perform during the fireworks display. The show is free and will also air live on CMT.
Previous performers have included Lady Antebellum, Chris Young, Martina McBride and Billy Currington.

George Strait’s 30th studio album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
This album moves George’s record to 27 No. 1 albums on the chart. Both Garth Brooks and Willie Nelson are a distant second with 17 No. 1 albums apiece.
Maren Morris will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack for season 8 of HBO’s Game of Thrones. The show teased the soundtrack on Twitter by saying, Rally the realm. The music is coming on April 26th. The final season premieres this Sunday.

They have been married for four months the baby is due in the early fall.
Brett says, "We have always shared the same heart for wanting a family. I love knowing that we get to give this little one an amazing life, and I just can't wait for the future ahead of us as a family. We are so blessed."

Dan and Shay were the big winners at ACM Awards last night, winning 3 awards -- Single, Song (both for "Tequila") and Duo of the Year.
Kacey Musgraves won two of the biggest categories of the night -- Female Artist and Album of the Year. Thomas Rhett was named Male Artist of the Year.
George Strait presented the Artist of the Decade trophy to Jason Aldean. Keith Urban took home the the big award- Entertainer of the Year.

Kellie Pickler’s holiday Hallmark movie, Christmas at Graceland is getting a summer sequel! Wedding at Graceland is set to premiere this summer as part of Hallmark Channel’s month long wedding programming in June. The movies could also get a third installment come Christmas time in December.
Kellie’s character found love in the first film when she returned home to Memphis to close a deal to take over the city’s family owned bank. While in town, she bumped into her ex Clay- a local music promoter. A second chance at love and music has now blossomed into a sequel and a wedding at Graceland!

Presenters have been announced too, they include Lauren Alaina, Clint Black, Hunter Hayes, Lady Antebellum, Midland, Carly Pearce, Michael Ray, Cole Swindell and more.
Reba will host the awards on Sunday at 8 on CBS.
For the third week, Luke Combs is at the top of a 5 of Billboard’s country charts. His song Beautiful Crazy remains number 1 on four charts while his album This One’s For You is number 1 on the Top Country Albums Chart. He is now the only artist in country music history to top all five charts for 3 week. The person to hold the record for 2 weeks- was Luke, so yes topped himself.

Maren Morris adds new shows to her Girl tour.
The new dates include another show in Los Angeles in September and more stops in California and Milwaukee. No stops closer to us than the date later this month in Pittsburgh.
She'll perform on the ACM Awards with Brothers Osborne this Sunday.
Congratulations to Midland's Jess Carson. He and wife Camille welcomed their third child, a girl named Rosalia last week.
She joins big brother Parker and sister Ida.
