RULES SPECIFIC TO HARDY AND HOUSER FLYAWAY
This contest is scheduled to start Monday, August 16th during the 8am hour and end on Friday, August 20th during the 4pm hour, however WQMX reserves the right to terminate the contest at any time. Your chance of winning the contest will depend on the number of persons listening to WQMX and participating in the contest. There will be no substitution, transfer or cash equivalent for any prize, for any reason, except that a sponsor or in this case the record label- Magnolia Music Group, at its sole discretion, may substitute a prize of equal value due to prize unavailability.
The Grand Prize is: the trip October 19-21 (2 nights), hotel- Courtyard Denver Golden/Red Rocks, 2 round trip airline tickets (airport and airline TBD), 2 tickets to the show on 10/20 at Red Rocks. All expenses not specifically mentioned in the prize description as being included are excluded. By accepting the grand prize, winners release Magnolia Music Group or sponsors from any and all liability from any losses, injuries or expenses of any kind (including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury and or death) resulting from participation in the contest including acceptance of prize.
GENERAL WQMX CONTEST REGULATIONS
One WQMX Listener from a household may win a prize once every 30 days. Persons from households where someone has won a prize valued at $500 or more shall be ineligible to win any other prize for a period on one year. You may be asked to come to the station to claim your prize. No purchase is necessary to enter or win any WQMX Contest. We will need a photo ID such as your driver's license.
Anyone may win one of our games except employees (or their immediate family members) of The Rubber City Radio Group, Inc., or any Advertising Agency connected with Rubber City Radio Group or any station advertiser (or Agency representing said advertiser) connected with the prize, contest or giveaway. WQMX or the Sponsor will file a IRS Form 1099 on any prize given in excess of $600 value.
Winners of large prizes will be required to sign a release giving us permission to use their name, likeness and recorded voice to promote the awarding of the prize, and to acknowledge the probable tax liability, and avowing that they have complied with all of the contest rules, winning the game fairly. In every game, the judges will be appointed by WQMX. The decisions made by our judges shall be final.
In the event, the rules of any contest or game must be changed while the game is in progress, an announcement shall be made on WQMX, on the day the change is to take effect, at approximately 7:10am. That change shall be posted to the contest rules page on our website (http://www.wqmx.com).

To participate in any WQMX game or contest that requires a cue to call in, you must call 370-2000 from the Akron area. WQMX and it's owner, the Rubber City Radio Group reserves the right to stop any game at any time. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win any WQMX contest. Additional contests are often executed online, via text or social media. The rules for each individual contest are always on the associated contest page for that contest at wqmx.com
If, after any contest has begun, any changes or updates are deemed necessary, the changes will be announced at approximately 7:10am on the day that the change is to take effect.
In the spirit of fairness, anyone who has won a prize on the radio from WQMX is ineligible to win for a period of 30 days. Only one (1) winner per household (street address) is allowed during that period of time. Persons from households where an individual has won a GRAND prize, which could have a value that is "priceless" due to its "experience" nature, or one with a monetary valued at $500 or more are ineligible to participate in any WQMX major contest for a period of one (1) year. Grand prizes are NOT transferable.
Individuals must be 18 years of age or older in order to be able to participate in WQMX contests, unless otherwise noted. Employees of WQMX, The Rubber City Radio Group and members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate in any game. Employees of any sponsor or agency involved with any contest are also ineligible to participate, as are members of their respective families.
The station reserves the right to any video, audio, photographic or print material which involves the winner(s) or their families for promotional use without further permission. All winners agree to participate with the station and it's advertising agencies in publicizing or broadcasting winners' names, winnings, their picture or character likeness without further compensation. Winners will be solely responsible for the payment of any and all expenses and taxes associated with receipt of any prize.
All winners must sign a release form agreeing to hold harmless the Rubber City Radio Group, radio station WQMX, and all of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from all losses, damages, penalties, claims, actions, suits, costs and expenses of any kind whatsoever, including any property damage, personal injury or death to any participant or third person arising out of or in connection with participation in any contest or with the use of any prizes awarded in connection with the contest.
All decisions of station management with regard to the awarding of prizes, the selection of winners and the interpretation of these rules shall be final. Each contestant, by virtue of entering any contest, agrees to accept the decision of the station as final.

Contest rules are available for inspection during regular business hours, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. You may also obtain a copy of the rules by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to WQMX Contest Rules, Akron Radio Center, 1795 West Market Street, Akron, OH 44313.
