Rhett Akins is a dad again...
Lee Brice has a new family member...

Singer, songwriter Rhett Akins and his wife, Sonya, recently welcomed a baby boy. They took to social media to share the news about their son Brody James Akins. Rhett is Thomas Rhett's father, so that means Brody is his new baby brother and Brody is now the new uncle to Thomas and Lauren's three little girls.

A total modern family!

Lee Brice and his family added a new family member recently. A dog named Buck. 
They adopted him from a local shelter and they're encouraging others to adopt or foster a pet.

Take out has become a big part of lives these past couple of weeks and the Warren and I have been partaking. I will also say, I have been veering off my low carb life plan a wee bit! Ha!

The other night we got pizza from one of our most favorite places: Kraus in North Canton on Middlebranch. It was heavenly. On the pizza was sausage and banana peppers. Their sausage is ground up like saw dust and they put on just enough peppers with the right amount of sauce and cheese and spices and they cut the pizza into squares, a personal favorite- it was so good!

I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend supporting local businesses during this time and getting carry-out and then heading back home!

Congratulations to Jake Owen. His single, "Homemade" is at the top of the Mediabase country singles chart, making it his first number-one single since 2018's "I Was Jack (You Were Diane)" and his 8th total number-one.

Willie Nelson's 70th solo studio album, First Rose of Spring , is waiting to be heard in the summer.
The album was originally supposed to come out on April 24th. It's now scheduled for release on July 3rd.

A lot of cleaning and purging is getting done during this time of social distancing. The Warren and I started cleaning, purging and organizing the basement. This room is our Mount Everest. This is where all the Christmas decorations are, his tools, and my head gear!

I have bags and bags full of head gear, hats and costumes. We started there and I got overwhelmed. I truly believe that every occasion can be and should be celebrated with some sort of head gear. And, I soon realized I have all the head gear for those occasions! Ha!

I ended up sorting them into 7 categories with 3 special ones on the side. Yes, I know this sounds insane. Holidays, food and drink, animals, birthday, pink things, miscellaneous and hats. The 3 side ones: Sugarland, Buckeyes and Christmas.

I know I am out of control, but it makes me so happy. Now, off to the garage!
