Beer In Mexico  - Kenny Chesney  -  2007

SW small Logo This is another number one song from Chesney and that's no surprise.  But what may stun you is this was the first song to go number one that he wrote solo.  I always thought the difference maker in this song was the skillful use of horns. This is a song that gets them out front and let's you enjoy the ride with them. Too many times when horns are used, the producers seem to try to bury them.  If you're using them  - use them!  This song zings along at a great pace.  BIM is a fantastic concert song for him and a song I will drive around the block to hear entirely if I'm too close to the house to not catch the whole thing.  Chesney was on such a roll at this time, this incredible song was the fifth single off his The Road And The Radio album. Think about that, a song this good having to wait for four other songs to clear before it gets on the charts.  We all love to hear Chesney party in a song, and this one certainly does!

Zoo babies!!!!

The Cleveland Metroparks zoo is celebrating a birth! A Swamp Monkey was born in February - the first Swamp Monkey born at the zoo since 2009 :). If that wasn't enough cuteness, go across the Turnpike and the Toledo Zoo had twin Polar Bears born in December! They are the first born in Toledo since 2012.

Once we have warmer weather sticking around, I may have to go visit and see the babies in person. By the way, the Toledo Zoo has always been one of my favorite zoos in the country. Who doesn't like baby animals?!

Raising McCollum's

You know I have talked about Chicken Fingers at Raising Cane's...

Parker McCollum joined the ranks of superstars who have worked the drive thru for the fans.  Parker served up food at his hometown Conroe, TX location of Cane's that led up to him opening up the Houston Rodeo tonight.  Cane's also had a Koe Wetzel Day too.  Now I'm hungry.

Gaming a Lot Lately

I don't really consider myself a gamer. It's mostly because I'm really bad at them, like extremely bad. If I do play a game, it's usually a life sim or a puzzle that doesn't require a ton of skill to be good at. But as of late, I've really been getting back into the Fallout series!

Somehow, despite being terrible at shooting games, I love this series. I've only played a handful of them, and I've only "finished" one, but juggling between four at once has been fun! A few days ago I finished Fallout 4 for the first time, and it felt like such a huge accomplishment! I first played the game when it was released six years ago, but I was too scared and too bad to finish it. But after playing a little bit of Fallout 76, I decided to get back into it. I'm having a blast trying to get all the endings, playing all of the DLC stories, and even playing a little bit of Fallout 3 and the first game as I go along!

To those who are better or more dedicated to games this might seem pathetic, but I'm having fun, and in my book that's all that matters!

WYNN - Eat Of The Week!

Gotta love a good noodle.  Even when you're out of everything else in the house you always seem to have noodles of some kind.  AND generally something to throw on them.

Here's fun article for your noodle.

Car show or RV show?

With the Car Show going on this week at the I-X Center, that got me thinking. I'm not a car guy. I could go to the car show and be entertained for a bit, but I would likely get through it pretty fast.

The RV Show on the other hand...I can spend hours tour those things! Now I missed it this year (happened in January). However, I went several years ago with my dad and both of us were in awe of how spectacular and fancy some of these things are. The most expensive one we toured that day was over $300,000!

I have no interest in owning one, but I think it's really cool to tour them and look at what accessories they may have. Imagining myself on a vacation staying in one - will likely always be that...my imagination.
