Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, JoDee Messina, Ashley McBryde, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Bailey Zimmerman!

This list reads like an amazing music festival, not an awards show! Not only that, Dolly Parton & Garth Brooks are hosting...AND Dolly says she will debut her 1st single off her rock album! This will be a great night indeed! It will stream live from The Ford Center in Frisco,TX (Dallas) May 11th on Amazon Prime Video and then will be available the next day on FreeVee.

Trailer Thursday: Black Mirror Season 6

Today's Trailer Thursday features a teaser for the next season of Black Mirror and you guys.

I AM OBSESSED.

Black Mirror is some of the best television that you can stream. Almost every episode is poignant, interesting, and disturbing. I think that I am both a better and bleeker person because I watch it, and it's interactive film Bandersnatch. I think about this movie all the time.

I am excited and frightened and intrigued.

Content Warning: Strong language

Here's the season 6 teaser for Black Mirror:

Thank you, see you next year

Even before the playoffs started I had a feeling this would be the outcome. I just didn't want to say anything and possibly jinx it. The Cavs season is over. They were eliminated from the playoffs by the New York Knicks Wednesday night with a 106-95 loss. The Knicks won the series 4 games to 1. New York will go on to play either Miami or Milwaukee in round 2.

JB Bickerstaff did a good job with the team this year. It was an exciting season with him leading them to a 51-31 record for the season. This was the first season the Cavs reached the playoffs in over 20 years without Lebron James! If that isn't an accomplishment, I don't know what is. This is a young team without a lot of playoff experience which is why I'm not surprised we're not going to the second round. I look forward to another fun and exciting Cavs season come October.

WYNN - Forgotten Jukebox D-19

So Help Me Girl - Joe Diffie - 1995   (Album - Third Rock From The Sun)

I wrote a few weeks ago that Joe Diffie would be be back in this series and today he is. I think it's sad that history overall has not been as kind to his legacy in some regards.  When I heard JD sing this song for the first time I knew it was a big hit. This went to #2 on the charts, has a real nice video and is simply easy to listen to. Terrific background vocals too on this song.  As much as I love Pickup Man, John Deere Green and many fun Diffie classics, these kind of songs showed you how great he was, and how he was capable of singing about any song you threw at him.  He is a very underrated star of the 1990's and beyond.   The original Mullet Man, Joe Diffie - remarkably versatile, and talented.  I loved hearing him sing a country song.  He is a great example of why we have The Forgotten Jukebox.

Rosanne Cash - I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me - 1985

SW small Logo I was and am a big fan of Rosanne Cash.  I always felt her music was a little tough to define even during her strong run on the country charts.  It was a nice blend of adult contemporary at times, country, her fathers influence, sometimes a bit of folk, and sometimes real pop country, like this gem.  RC sounded great no matter what kind of music her powerful voice was singing.  I loved this song the very first time I played it on WRMZ in Columbus and have loved it no matter what station came next.  This is a great example of her incredible versatility that to me is darn rare. This song is very strong, and is a whole lot more produced with a bigger sound than many of her previous songs, and I loved every note of it. This is a fine example of mid 80's Pop Country.  It's slick, it's arranged perfectly and I can honestly say I seldom get tired of any RC song, and this is one I can listen to over and over with zero problem.  This was a big number one, co-written by her and husband Rodney Crowell and incredible backing vocals from Vince Gill, won her a Grammy, and was penned after and because of losing out on a Grammy a year or two earlier I think to Juice Newton.

Rosanne Cash is a BadA**!

It was a BIG day for Miranda Lambert!

Tuesday was a big day for Miranda Lambert. Her new cookbook "Y'all Eat Yet?" hit stores, and she had a full day of related activities. She signed copies of her book for fans in New York City at Barnes & Noble on 5th Ave. While in the Big Apple, she also appeared as the musical guest on "Live! With Kelly & Mark".

Then it was time to hop a plane headed out west for more signatures! She made a stop to sign moe copies of her book for fans at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles. Guess what though? That's not all for Miranda.

On May 9th, she has plans to sign even more copies of the cookbook at her Pink Pistol store in her hometown of Lindale,TX. So I guess if you want a signed copy from Miranda herself you haven't missed out quite yet. Just make plans for a road trip to East Texas in early May! Happy cooking :)

First Mow of The Year

I mowed my lawn for the first time today. Mowing the lawn was a chore I thoroughly enjoyed as a kid, it's great exercise, it gets you outside, and it's extremely rewarding seeing how much nicer everything instantly looks. I have never in my adult life lived anywhere that had a lawn to mow, I was either in an apartment building with no yard or somewhere where lawncare was included. But now I live in a house with a yard, and I love it, but I also don't have a mower. So after borrowing one from a friend, I hopped to it and it was wonderful. I had to wait till today because Ohio weather did its thing and made it cold and rainy after it was nice for a bit. Today it was just cold, so it was actually a pretty nice experience. Can't wait to keep my lawn flamingos happy for the rest of the summer.

Shame Is The Name of The Game

If you have played sports, have a child that does or even perused the Internet in the past 20 years...

You have probably caught a parent(s) acting crazy.  Fighting, arguing or worse.  I was always around sports as a kid.

Baseball was my primary sport.  My son is playing soccer currently and we travel a lot, so I get to see a bunch of different areas parents and refs(umps).

This weekend we played at Cedar Point Outdoor Sports Center which is a pretty nice setup.  15+ Fields set up for baseball but soccer fields can be placed on them depending on age groups.

At one point there was a lightning warning and everyone in the park - 15 fields x 2 teams is 30 teams of at least 9...   270 players plus probably 100 players in batting cages and waiting for their next game.   All the parents and workers had to evacuate.   It was not fun...

So some parents were angry, some more than others...  The Refs threatened to Eject a number of fans...  it made me think of this new rule in New Jersey.

I give all the props and accolades to umpires, refs, coaches and whoever is working with our youth creating good sports.

This new rule may make rowdy parents in the spotlight....
