Ken Mellons - Jukebox Junkie - 1994 - (Album - Ken Mellons)

SW small Logo It isn't often a song that peaked at #8 on the charts is revered and remembered as much as this is. But when this song from newcomer Ken Mellons was out, fans loved it.  And all these years later when it's played at a concert, or a bar, dance hall, or on the speakers before a concert, fans sing and know every word.  This fits in the same category as Goodbye Says It All from Blackhawk, or Daddy's Hands from Holly Dunn.  Songs that did not reach the top of the printed music charts, but went to the top of listeners Heart Charts.  This was really the only big hit Ken Mellons ever recorded, but what a favorite this is.  He was very reminiscent of John Anderson, or even Tracy Lawrence to a degree. You can certainly hear the Anderson influence in his voice and this song.  It's one of those songs that make you feel good, and there's nothing wrong with that.  Not then, not ever. It's probably been a while, so here you go!  And if you've never heard this song, you're welcome!
