Keeping it brief for this blog, I've been excited to reveal my Halloween costume for this year. I wanted to pick something that complimented the fact that I have long hair, tied into what I do here on-air at the station, and was easy to pull off. What better than a country music artist? 

It wasn't just any artist either. I chose to dress up as the legend himself, Willie Nelson! This was partially a nod to his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame coming up this weekend, and also just because he's iconic.

All things considered, I was happy with how my costume came out aside from two minor details. First and foremost, I had forgotten that my acoustic guitar is sitting at my mom's house currently. That realization just before heading out hurt. Secondly, I struggled with greying my hair and beard. I looked up several ways to do it and had it all ready to go, but totally missed the fact that I needed hairspray to keep the powder in. Despite this, I think I got the point across!
