David Nail splits with MCA…
Kacey Musgraves is asking you to hashtag for a cause…

David Nail has split with his record label, MCA Nashville. He signed with them in 2007 and had seven singles in the Top 40, including two No. 1 hits, “Let It Rain” and “Whatever She’s Got.”
It is not clear what David’s future plans are in terms of recording, but he has some tour dates for 2017. David has not made any comments about his departure from MCA.

Kacey Musgraves has teamed up with Music and Memory, an organization that donates music-filled iPods to patients with Alzheimer's disease.
She wants fans to share a photo on the organization’s website with the hashtag #LoveSong. For each photo posted, a song will be donated to a patient suffering from memory loss.
The personalized playlists help patients reconnect with the world by triggering memories.

Jake Owen got a new dog…
Eric Church takes on the scaplers and wins…

Jake Owen and his daughter Pearl added a new family member - a German Shepherd puppy, who has yet to be named. The new addition joins Jake’s 2 bulldogs and a bull mastiff.

Eric Church has passion- especially for his fans. He has always fought against scalpers, but this latest battle is his biggest win yet. He has canceled 25,000 tickets that had been purchased for his upcoming shows after identifying them as being bought by scalpers.

Eric told the Associated Press that he plans to keep doing everything he can to stop what he considers a criminal organization that is making millions from exploiting music fans. He and his team have put special procedures in place to identify tickets purchased by scalpers, and this isn’t the first time that he’s canceled tickets and put those seats back on sale to the real fans at fair prices, but it’s certainly the biggest. Thus proving Eric Church is the Chief, our Homeboy, our Springsteen, and the man! He will be a the Q in Cleveland on Friday night!
