Eric Church’s son is on his payroll…
A concert film for Waylon Jennings is coming…

Eric Church's five-year-old son Boone is on his payroll.
He makes 10 bucks a show helping the choir -- which sings on the opening number -- get onto the stage in time. Eric says, “Boone’s got a radio, he’s got his flashlight, he’s got a little work belt and his pass, he goes in there, and he’ll make sure that the choir’s ready to go.”
Boone even negotiated a raise after he complained that his job was boring and that he was underpaid. Eric said all he could do was shake his head when he realized he got hustled by a 5-year-old.

A concert film honoring Waylon Jennings is set to air on CMT on April 7th.
Outlaw: Celebrating the Music of Waylon Jennings features Willie Nelson, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Alison Krauss, Toby Keith, Sturgill Simpson and more. It was filmed in Austin, Texas.
A CD and DVD of the concert will be released on the same day.

Colton Swon of the Swon Brothers is engaged…

Justin Moore and his wife are not going to find out what they are having with baby #4…

Colton Swon of The Swon Brothers is engaged.

He's popped the question to Caroline Glaser, who he met when they both competed on Season 4 of The Voice. Apparently, Colton took Caroline to the movies and arranged to have a highlight reel of their relationship played between commercials. That's when he got down on one knee and proposed in front of family and friends.

Justin Moore and his wife are expecting their fourth child. Already parents to three daughters, Justin says his wife wants to be surprised by the gender of their fourth child. He wanted to find out because he hates surprises, but his wife is adamant, so they aren’t finding out.

Justin says he is happy with his house full of girls even though people keep asking if he’s the one who really wants a boy. Turns out it is not him. His wife wants a boy. The new addition is due in June.

Little Big Town is at #1 again this week…
Brantley Gilbert is touring this summer…

Little Big Town can celebrate once again: "Better Man" held on to the top spot on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart for a second week.

"Better Man" is the lead single off LBT's new album, The Breaker, which came out Friday.

Brantley Gilbert is hitting the road this summer and he likes being outdoors.
He says, “There are so many different ways to do this come warm weather. And I like ’em all. Festivals are just a party with a whole lotta music… There’s not much more real -- or more like where I come from -- than a fair…and those amphitheater shows, well, that’s where the BG Nation comes together to throw it down."
Brantley will be at Blossom with Tyler Farr and Luke Combs on August 4th!

Blake Shelton loves The Voice…
Connie Britton saw no other way to leave Nashville…

The Voice is beginning its 12th season, and Blake Shelton has no intention of quitting the show anytime soon.
He says, “It really does feel like my baby now. When that show goes live, Adam and Carson and me steer that ship. It matters to us. I’ve given it so much of myself, I’m not ready to walk away yet. I will be, but not yet.”
He says he can't imagine turning on the TV and seeing someone else in his big red chair. Neither can we, Blake!
The new season premieres tonight on NBC.

Connie Britton didn't want Rayna James -- her character on Nashville -- to die, but she could see no other way.
She says, "I realized: She would never leave her family. She would never leave her kids. She would never leave Deacon. So there really wasn’t any alternative."
Her character will come back in a flashback in another episode.
She won’t be gone from TV long, it appears Connie has landed a role in the Netflix comic drama called The Land of Steady Habits.
