Scotty McCreery is not only a great singer, but he is also a successful songwriter. He co-wrote his hits "Five More Minutes" and "This Is It," as well as his latest, "In Between," which is in the Top 10 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. Now, Scotty is trying to get his wife, Gabi, to pick up a pen and join him.

He said, "If you know how to be honest and you can have fun and just throw out ideas and not be afraid to say something, you can get a good little song out of it, you just gotta be vulnerable. I can see her being a great songwriter. She'd just have to kinda get there and believe in herself a little because she's very shy about that stuff."
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton just made their relationship more official -- by going in together on a $13 million California mansion.
The two has been spending a lot of time at Blake's Oklahoma ranch, but they've decided they needed a place closer to LA too.
They'll be the first occupants of the newly built house, which includes a four-car garage, a home theater and a giant kitchen with top-of-the-line everything -- plus a massive backyard pool with a spa and a large cabana offering a full wet bar and outdoor kitchen.
