Garth Brooks to release a five-part anthology…
Darius Rucker to release a new album…

Garth Brooks will release a five-part anthology tracing the steps of his career from the very beginning. It will feature a book written by Garth and is packaged with five CDs.
Part 1: The First Five Years will be out on November 14th. It is all about the early days of his career, including the first time he sang one of his songs with Trisha Yearwood. The CDs feature early demos, outtakes and songs that have never been heard before.

Darius Rucker is set to release his fifth country album next month. The 12-song project already has a No. 1 hit, with “If I Told You,”- it reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart in June.
In addition to featuring top songwriters, the album has a cover of Drivin’ N’ Cryin’s “Straight to Hell.” Darius enlisted the help of a few of his friends—Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley—to provide vocals on the tune.
When Was the Last Time comes out on October 20th.

Luke Bryan is now wearing looser-fitting jeans…
Scotty McCreery is now engaged…

Luke Bryan is changing his jeans. In a recent interview, he said that he has chosen to go with looser-fitting jeans going forward.
He jokingly said, “I did go to a looser jean this year. Because I just got tired of like, ‘Tight Pants Luke Bryan Brings Show to Hoboken.’ Is like everybody here just to see my dance? Nobody wants to hear my vocal quality.”

His tight pants and dance moves have always been a topic of conversation and somewhat of a laughing matter Luke and a crowd pleaser for fans- we shall see if these so-called looser fitting jeans really make a big difference.

Scotty McCreery is engaged.
He proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Gabi while the two were taking a walk on a trail in North Carolina.
He says, “I’ve been planning this moment for so long that it feels surreal for it to have finally happened. Gabi is the perfect girl and my true love, and I cannot wait to begin building our life together as husband and wife.”
The happy couple met in kindergarten and have been dating for 6 years. They plan to get hitched next year.

He will join Katy Perry, leaving one seat yet to be filled. The announcement comes one week before auditions are set to begin and follows a report that Luke had been offered a deal in early September.

Jon Pardi has a lot to celebrate this week, after "Heartache on the Dance Floor" became his latest number-one single over the weekend.  This is Jon’s third straight number one in a row following “Head Over Boots” and “Dirt On My Boots.” Apparently Jon likes to celebrate with tequila, and he has an exciting month.
