Friday, 9/22

Carrie Underwood doesn’t work out- as much…
Blake Shelton’s new album is due out in November…

One time exercise fen Carrie Underwood has cut back on her workouts.
She tells E!, "I used to work out six days a week. But now that's a little rare, sometimes it's one or two times a week, and that just kind of has to be OK. And it is OK because whatever I'm doing that's keeping me out of the gym is important."
And when she does work out, her cute son Isaiah and her husband Mike often join her.

Blake Shelton will release his 11th studio album, Texoma Shores, on November 3rd. 
He made the announcement via social media yesterday. His timing is on point because the new season of The Voice starts on Monday.

Alabama to release a Christmas album…
Little Big Town to tour next year…

Alabama will release their American Christmas album on October 6th. 
The album includes holiday favorites, four new songs and an updated version of their classic "Christmas in Dixie."
It's the group's first newly recorded Christmas album in 21 years. 

Little Big Town is hitting the road next year and they are bringing along Kacey Musgraves and Midland for the ride! They announced The Breaker Tour yesterday via social media. They will kick the tour off in Oklahoma on February 8th and wrap things up in Georgia on April 21st. They make a couple stops in Ohio- the closest appears to be in Columbus on February 15th. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

Willie Nelson is teaming up with his sons for an album…
Jason Aldean has a new book out…

Willie Nelson will release Willie Nelson and the Boys on October 20th. 
The album features his sons Lukas and Micah, and is from Willie's Stash -- an archive of performances and studio recordings. The collection features country standards, many which were written by Hank Williams. This is the second album to come from Willie’s Stash.

Jason Aldean has released his first book, Family, Friends and Fans. 
The book, written with Tom Carter, is a collection of stories about the people who've influenced his life -- his mom and dad, his producer, his band members, his booking agent, his friends and his wife Brittany.

Thomas Rhett finally has a #1 album…
Granger Smith gives details on his new album…

Thomas Rhett scored his first number 1 album on the all genre Billboard 200 chart with is latest album Life Changes. This is the first number one country album in 2017 and it brings country back to the top spot on this chart for the first time in exactly one year- since Jason Aldean’s They Don’t Know.

Granger Smith next album When the Good Guys Win will be released on October 27th. Granger made the announcment about the release date on social media last week and also included details on song titles.
The album will include 13 songs, including one with his alter ego Earl Dibbles Jr. Granger had a hand in writing 8 of the 13 songs. So just in time for Halloween- mark it on the calendar, October 27th- Yee, yee!

 

Monday, 9/18

Chris Lane to headline this fall…
Dustin Lynch is still at #1…

Chris Lane is set to embark on his first headlining tour next month. He'll start off the Take Back Home tour in Baltimore on October 15th and wrap things up in Wichita, Kansas on December 15th. 
He says, "I couldn’t be more excited for my first headlining tour. I’ve learned so much as a performer on the road with Florida Georgia Line this summer, so to be able to showcase that and take more music to the fans is a dream come true."

Dustin Lynch will spend another week celebrating at the top of the charts with "Small Town Boy." The last person who scored two weeks in the top spot was Luke Combs with "Hurricane."
