Josh Turner’s album is on top of the charts…
Jon Pardi is golden…

Josh Turner is back and he is back on top after his new album, Deep South, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart. This is his sixth studio album and his follow-up to 2012’s Punching Bag.

Josh co-wrote five of the album’s 11 tracks.

Congrats to Jon Pardi, his latest single “Dirt on My Boots” has been certified gold for sales and downloads of 500,000 copies!

His previous single, “Head Over Boots” went to the top of the charts last year and “Dirt on My Boots” is poised to hit #1 this weekend. What will Jon do? Keep singing about boots or not? We shall find out!

Lady A is ready to give fans new music…
More performers for the ACMs

It took awhile for Lady A to find Heart Break, if you will. The group’s first new album in three new years came after a few starts and stops and a trip out west. The trio learned they needed to get out of Nashville to succeed.

Dave Haywood suggested moving out for a little while, so they did. They first spent a week writing in Florida and then headed to California. Hillary Scott added that this time they are all more confident in their own skin and so excited to get this music out to the fans.

Heart Break, Lady A’s sixth studio album, drops on June 9.

More performers have been added to the line-up for the 52nd ACM Awards on April 2nd.
Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban will all take the stage. They'll join previously announced performers - pretty much everyone else.

More performers and presenters will be announced soon. Get ready- the ACM Awards, hosted by Luke and Dierks, will air live from Las Vegas on CBS.

Dancing With the Stars host Erin Andrews wants more country stars competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy.
She says, “It’d be so fun to have somebody like Luke [Bryan] or Eric Church or any of the younger guys. We need a country music star so bad on our show... It would be fantastic.”

William Michael Morgan is sorta planning his wedding…
Chris Lucas of Locash found out the gender of his baby in an interesting way…
Michael Ray is back at #1…

William Michael Morgan and Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne are planning their wedding, sort of.
He says, “There’s not much set in stone quite yet. I think. I’m thinking sometime in December-ish after Christmas and before February. That’s all we really got so far.”
Like Sam Hunt, William Michael is wearing a wedding band already. He says, "We're setting a trend."

Chris Lucas of LoCash and his wife Kaitlyn are expecting a third child, a girl, in September.
Chris found out the gender of the baby on live TV -- before a performance on the Today show. Kaitlyn dialed in via Skype from Nashville.
They already have two kids -- a son, Caden, and a daughter, Remi.

And a huge congrats to Michael Ray for scoring this week’s #1 song on the Mediabase Country Singles Chart with “Think A Little Less.” The song, written by Thomas Rhett, is Michael’s second #1 single following “Kiss You in the Morning.”
