I have the pleasure of being a celebrity judge once again this year at the Ms. Wheelchair USA program Saturday night.

This is were contestants compete from all over the United States to become an ambassador for those in wheelchairs. The present a platform that they will represent during their year as Ms. Wheelchair USA. This organization promotes the beauty, confidence, and service of women with disabilities.

I am proud to be a part of this event each year because these women show that anything and everything is possible.

Miranda Lambert is back with a new single…
Tim McGraw has a new book…

Miranda Lambert released "It All Comes Out in the Wash" this week and it's her first solo single in three years. 
She says, "When we were little, our moms would say ‘let’s not worry about a stain.’ Everyone goes through times in life that are difficult and has moments that they wish would pass. This song is a mix of scenarios that we have all either been a part of or have seen, and is a fun reminder that hard times do eventually pass.”
Miranda's Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour this fall will feature special guests Maren Morris and Elle King, as well as Pistol Annies, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde and Caylee Hammack on various dates.

Tim McGraw has revealed the cover of his new book, Grit and Grace.
In it, he writes about the transformation of his body, mind and spirit over the last decade, and offers tips to achieving a happy and healthy life.
Grit and Grace will be available on November 5th, but you can pre-order the book now.

George Strait to release box set again…
Alabama is going into the Musicians HOF…

George Strait will reissue a limited edition of his 1995 Strait Out of the Box: Part 1 collection.
The set features 72 songs released from 1981 to 1995, including "You Look So Good in Love, “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” and “Check Yes or No.” 
Strait Out of the Box: Part 1 will be available exclusively through Walmart starting on September 13th.

Alabama will be the first act to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Musicians Hall of Fame. 
Randy Owen says, "Getting the first Lifetime Achievement Award and going in the Musicians Hall of Fame is very humbling. I am thankful to be a musician, a singer, a songwriter and for being able to make a living through touring and recording for the last 50 years."

Festa Italiana starts tomorrow in the Falls and runs through Sunday. They have live music, tons of entertainment, and the FOOD! You have to go for the food.

I can taste the stromboli, the pasta, the Italian sausage, the wine, all the things. 

This festival is easy to get to. It is set up right downtown in Cuyahoga Falls and the music is in that perfect amphitheatre with the vendors spread out all around. This weekend is gonna be hot, but the evening will be perfect fro some vino and Italian food! Enjoy!
