Can't Bear-ly Understand This

It's prime cuffing season.  Where singles look for a companion to make it thru the holidays with:  Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day and then it is break-up season, or uncuffing season.

If you are looking for a last minute gift for a single person in your life.  I have the answer.  If they are looking for tall, dark and handsome... maybe the 5'7' and a slender 7 lbs, sounds perfect.  It is the Puffy Bear!

He won't complain, he won't make a mess, he will make you all warm and toasty with out a peep being made... Maybe you could hibernate with this big lug...

He won't run you up a tree (because he is a bear!!!), he will run you $160...  small price to pay to see the look on the singles face you are giving it to as a gift...  Forget the body pillow.  It's the Puffy Bear Pillow Guy!  Click Here to check it out.

Christmas Lights!

Christmas lights are one of the most wonderful things about Christmas in my opinion. I love driving around with my family and looking at all the displays that everyone has put so much effort and Christmas spirit into! It's a tradition to jump in the car with cups of hot cocoa to seek out all the pretty lights!

Country Living put together a list of the 41 Best Most Magical Christmas Light Displays Across the U.S. While the pictures are pretty to look at, and to make notes for your next winter vacation, there is nothing like seeing them in person. Every year, I check out the list of local displays from Northeast Ohio Family Fun before we head out the door. They put together lists by county which is super helpful and easy to find the ones near you! Click here for all the info, including drive through displays and ones that are set to music!

Christmas Prep Part 1: Presents!

I celebrate Christmas, and since it's now less than a week away (!!!) it's time for me to go into crunch mode and tie up any loose ands (and bows, and ribbons). Today I started wrapping Christmas presents! I'm not the best at it, but I love wrapping them up and making them look pretty almost as much as I like watching people open them! I watched Home Alone as I did it, one of my favorites, and realized I didn't have enough gift tag stickers to finish. Nothing a quick Target run can't fix! I'm so excited to continue tomorrow and start prepping for the snow!

RIP, Dad

If you were wondering where I was Wednesday-Friday last week...I was on Bereavement Leave. My dad passed away late Tuesday afternoon from cancer and other conditions at the age of 70. As of now, I am doing pretty good actually. Services with family and friends are this week. We haven't passed a day where I would normally see him yet, so I don't know if it's fully sunk in.

Myself and one of my brothers were in the hospital room with him when he actually passed. He was a great travel companion and loved spending a day at Cedar Point or Dollywood together. We spent many evenings at baseball games - both major and minor league.

He was an only child, so my siblings and I are joking that he's now back with his parents (who were HUGE Indians fans) debating what to do for the upcoming season, etc. Also, he's trying to finally help them get their VHS collection sorted. His parent's front coat closet had an entire upper shelf with tapes of movies, TV shows and Indians games on them. NOT JOKING - the ENTIRE 1995 World Series, the 1997 All Star Game, the ENTIRE 1997 World Series and more! They'd tape EVERY game, then watch the news to see if the Indians won. If they did, they'd watch the game. If the Indians lost, they'd just tape over it the next day! LOL

So we're thinking my dad is with them trying to get them to sort out and part with SOME of those VHS tapes! RIP Dad. <3

WYNN - Favorite Christmas Songs List

Christmas is only a few days away, and we are all bombarded by Christmas songs. Love them or hate them, we listen to them every year.  Here is a list of some of the best, and you can compare them against your favorites.  I don't know if I have a favorite version of a favorite Christmas song.

I will say I like instrumental versions of most Christmas songs better than sung ones.  But I like instrumental music in general, I love hearing good musicians play.

Check it out

And Merry Christmas!!
