Luke Bryan says AI has been an adjustment…
Dierks Bentley is looking for female heroes…

 

Luke Bryan is a nice guy and thinks most people are good. So sitting in the judge's chair on American Idol has been challenging for him thus far. 
He says, “It’s interesting. It’s a little out of my comfort zone to just pick people apart, but you have to. It’s what you signed up for.”
American Idol premieres on Sunday on ABC.

Dierks Bentley is looking for female heroes to be part of his ACM Awards performance.
He wants fans to submit pictures of special women to be included on a backdrop during his performance of "Woman, Amen."
Images should be taken on a solid, neutral background and must be posted via Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WomanAmenACM by Wednesday, April 4th.
The ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas on April 15th on CBS.

The first round of ACM performers have been announced…
Kelly Clarkson hints at new country music… 

The first round of performers has been announced for the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett are in the lineup. Pop singer Bebe Rexha will team up Florida Georgia Line, most likely to sing their collaboration, "Meant to Be."
The show airs live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 15th on CBS.

Kelly Clarkson recently hinted about working on new music with a favorite Nashville writer- Shane McAnally. This has many thinking they may be country songs and she may be returning to country music very soon.
Kelly tweeted, “Shane McAnally has already written some number one songs for me but y’all just haven’t heart them.”
Time will tell, and in the meantime, we can see her on season 14 of The Voice.

Cam teaming up with Smokey Robinson for CMT Crossroads…
Dave and Charles of Lady A are going back to college… 

Cam teamed up with Smokey Robinson and tapped an installment of CMT Crossroads. 
She says, "What an absolutely fulfilling moment to meet someone I have admired so long through my speakers, and then have him outshine my (very high) expectations, both as a talent and as a human being. Singing with him will forever be a highlight in my life."
The show premieres on March 28th. 

Dave Haywood and Charles Kelly of Lady Antebellum -- two University of Georgia alums -- are going back to college. They will give the school's commencement speech this year. 
Dave and Charles graduated from the school with business degrees in 2004.

Jake Owen downsized…
Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry is getting divorced… 

Jake Owen is all about downsizing these days. He recently sold his huge Tennessee estate he purchased from Loretta Lynn and moved to a smaller home.

His former home was 4,198 square feet, his new place- 400 square feet. Jake says he’s not lying and he loves it! That’s 1/10th of the room he had before. Let’s see how long that lasts!

After four years of marriage, The Band Perry’s, Kimberly Perry and her husband, former baseball player J.P. Arencibia, are getting a divorce.

Kimberly addressed the split in a post to Instagram, writing “Yes, sadly it’s true, my marriage has come to an end. I know that beauty will come from ashes and, as always, I want to thank you all for your love and support. I’ll be in touch soon.” The couple wed in June of 2014.

Sugarland and Cam are headed to American Idol…
Thomas Rhett has another #1… 

Sugarland and Cam announced via social media that they will be taking part in the duets portion of American Idol along with many other artists. They will join finalists who make the Top 24 on stage for a performance.
ABC’s American Idol will air on Sundays and Mondays, kicking things off with a two-hour premiere that starts at 8PM on March 11th.

Thomas Rhett has scored his 10th number-one single!

 "Marry Me" has hit at the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart. Thomas kicks off his Life Changes tour next month.
