George Strait will release the soundtrack to his movie Pure Country for the first time on vinyl on September 15th -- exactly 25 years to the day of its initial release.
To celebrate, he'll perform hits from the album on his two-night run on September 1st and 2nd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
George will play his final shows of 2017 on December 8th and 9th.

Kenny Chesney will release a compilation of 29 live performances recorded over the last 10 years.
No Shoes Nation: 10 Years of Concerts Hits features a decade of concert moments collected by Kenny and consisting of hits, surprises and even some obscure songs.
He says, “So much has happened over the last 10 years. But the one thing that remained consistent, that’s been there no matter what, are the people of No Shoes Nation. They’ve always been why I do what I do, but listening to all these shows over the last several months, I realized they’re really the heartbeat to everything me and my road family do.”
The album will be available on October 27th.

Sam Hunt has a new title…
Billy Currington has another #1 single…

Sam Hunt’s single “Body Like a Back Road” has claimed a new title.
The single went to number-one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart over six months ago, where it has remained for 25 consecutive weeks, breaking the record for most weeks atop the nearly 59-year-old chart.
It has also been in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for 16 straight weeks, longer than any other song in the chart’s 25-year history.

Billy Currington has the number-one song in country music this week. "Do I Make You Wanna" has peaked at the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart, giving Billy his 11th number-one hit. He refers to this song as a throwback to his first number-one hit, "Must Be Doing Something Right." Billy is out on his Stay Up 'Til the Sun tour through next month.

Thomas Rhett’s new album has a release date…
Sam Hunt isn’t 100% into music…

Thomas Rhett's new album, titled Life Changes will be out on September 8th.
Thomas said about the album, "I am and will always be a country artist. It's who I am, it's in my blood. I will always try to push boundaries because that rebellious side has been in me since I was a kid. My voice and my journey that inspired these songs is the glue that makes this album cohesive. This is where I'm at musically, and these are my stories."

Sam Hunt's priorities have changed. In a recent interview he explained that after years of working, he is ready for a personal life.
He said, "I’m in a place in my career and in my life where I’m not willing to give music 100 percent of me anymore. I did that for four years, and it was fruitful as far as my career goes, but everything else in my life had to be put on hold, and I’m just not willing to do that for years and years at a time.”
To be clear, he's not abandoning music, he's just creating room in his life for other things.
