After three years out of the limelight, Gretchen Wilson is ready to release new music and get back on the road. Her new album, Ready to Get Rowdy is out as of today and includes a collaboration with Kid Rock.
She said about the new project, “Listening to this record in its entirety will make you believe good ol’ country music hasn’t gone anywhere. These 12 songs are as ‘Gretchen Wilson’ as I get. The Redneck is back!”
Shania Twain fans will be happy to know the wait for new music is almost over, but a bit longer than earlier reported.
Her long-awaited new album, Now, will drop on September 29th instead of in August. She's released the cover art and the first single, "Life's About to Get Good." Shania wrote all of the songs on the album.
The last album Shania released was Up! in 2002.

When Dan and Shay noticed fans using the hashtag "#obsessed" when talking about their new music last year, it inspired them to title their second album Obsessed. Now, they are asking those fans for help again.
The guys took to Twitter and asked fans to help them decide their next single, writing, "Y'all named the #OBSESSED album, now we want you to pick our next single. Song with most votes wins!"

Keith Urban may be back when American Idol hits the airwaves on its new network, ABC- if the show’s producers make an offer.
He says, “There’s a lot of moving parts... That’s a good political answer, isn’t it? But it’s also quite true of the state of it right now. There’s a lot of moving parts in everybody’s camp. So, we’ll see what happens.”
There are also rumors that Carrie Underwood is being considering for a seat at the judges table. And, if she and Keith are both on the show, we know she will never fall, or cry, or get scared!

He and his wife Kate are welcomed their fourth child and their first son on Sunday. His name is Thomas South, and he shares his name with Justin’s late grandfather. The family will call him South.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are returning to host their 10th consecutive CMA Awards. The show will air on November 8th from Nashville.
Congratulations to Love and Theft's Stephen Barker Liles on his second child, Rayni Bell, who was born late last week.
He said, “We feel so blessed and excited to start this next chapter. I admire my wife so much. She is such an amazing mom! I’m a lucky man.”
Stephen and his wife Jenna's son Jett is three and-a-half years old.
Garth Brooks is out of the retirement business for good. He has big plans after his world tour with Trisha Yearwood wraps in December.
He said, "The only thing that's going to change after December is that it's not going to be a constant appearance. You're going to pick them, you're going to choose them. The great thing about next year, 2018, I'll get to play some places for free."
