Thomas Rhett’s wife chats on Instagram…
The CMT Music Awards plan a tribute to Gregg Allman…

Thomas Rhett's wife Lauren recently answered questions from fans on Instagram Live with the couple’s daughter Willa Gray there as well.
One thing she revealed is that baby girl number-two is due on August 8th. She says they have indeed picked out a name, but they're keeping it a secret until she arrives. Lauren also revealed that Thomas is thrilled to have all girls in the house and he is a great dad.

Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum will pay tribute to the late Gregg Allman at the CMT Music Awards.
Other performers include Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini and The Chainsmokers and Florida Georgia Line will perform together, as will Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood, and Earth, Wind and Fire and Lady A.

Lee Brice asked for his fans help to find his dogs…
Kip Moore is helping out songwriters…

Lee Brice’s two dogs went missing from his farm near Nashville yesterday and he was asking his fans for help in finding them.
He turned to social media yesterday to report that his dogs, Knox and Jax, somehow got away and then he posted pics of the cute pooches to help in the search. I am happy to report that late last evening, Lee posted his gratitude that his furry friends were back home and resting.

Kip Moore is committed to helping out songwriters who may be struggling financially so they can continue to write songs.
He helps his co-writers whose songs don't become singles by giving them a bonus out of his own pocket at the end of the year -- and he hopes other artists will do the same. He says, "I know that all artists can't do this, but my hope is that the big guns out there doing well on the road, that we can help kick back to the songwriters that are struggling in town."

With so much music streaming, songwriters get very little compensation unless the song is a radio hit.

Dierks Bentley has another #1…
FGL is ready to open up their venue in Nashville…

Dierks Bentley’s song "Black" reached the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart over the weekend.  This is the third straight number-one hit off Dierks' Black album. Black is Dierks' wife's maiden name and he says his song is the most romantic song on the album.

Florida Georgia Line have announced the grand opening of their new entertainment venue on Lower Broadway in Nashville.
FGL House will officially open on June 5th with four floors of entertainment, each with a different vibe. The venue also features a world-class restaurant, and there's a rooftop bar that will serve craft cocktails made with their Old Camp Whiskey.
If you so desire, you can buy a membership to the FGL House, which allows you to bypass lines, get special service at the bar and skip most cover charges.
