Luke Bryan fights with an audience member...
Little Big Town couple adds a furry family member...

More information is coming in as to what happened between Luke Bryan and an audience at Charlie Daniels's 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam.
A statement released by his camp reads, “A man in front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance. It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans -- some of whom were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man’s disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.” But not before Luke punched him without missing a beat!

Real life couple Jimi Westbrook and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town made the announcement that their family just got a bit bigger … and furrier. They added a new family member named Honey. She is an adorable light brown puppy who looks to be a spaniel mix. Karen posted two sweet photos of the new girl on Instagram.

Country singers make Christmas sweaters...
Three country songs make Rolling Stone’s list of 50 Best Songs of 2016...

Looking for the perfect Christmas present for your that country music fan in your life?
Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt and Sara Evans have created holiday-themed sweaters for a good cause. All money raised goes to Musicians on Call -- an organization that brings music to hospital beds of children, adults and veterans.
The sweaters go for $35 and they border on funny, ugly Christmas sweaters!

Three country songs have made it onto Rolling Stone's all-genre list of the 50 Best Songs of 2016.
Maren Morris checks in at number-38 with "80's Mercedes," Miranda Lambert's "Vice" is at number-31, and Little Big Town's latest, "Better Man," checks in at number-23. And again- if you were wondering- Beyonce's "Formation" tops the list.

Maren Morris added more dates...

Jason Aldean is living the American Dream!

Maren Morris has added New York City as the opening date for her Hero tour. She'll play the Bowery Ballroom on February 2nd.
Her previously announced Nashville date sold out within minutes, so she's added another show on April 4th. She'll wrap the 16-date trek with a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California on April 29th.  Her boyfriend, Ryan Hurd will be opening on a few dates on the tour.

Jason Aldean went from driving a Pepsi truck to being one of biggest stars in country music. Yet he still holds tight to his blue-collar work ethic.
He tells Rolling Stone, "I didn't get into this business to have this or make a ton of money. I honestly wanted to get up and go to a job and do something every day that I enjoyed. I enjoyed playing music and never in a million years thought it would turn into all this."
But Jason says there's no substitute for hard work when it comes to achieving the American Dream.

Luke Bryan to tour more in 2017!
Miranda Lambert’s new album is #1!

Luke Bryan is giving his Kill the Lights tour a rest at the moment but will pick it up again for several dates in 2017.

He'll get things going on February 16th in Huntington, West Virginia and wrap up on March 17th in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Brett Eldredge will open the shows.

Miranda Lambert's The Weight of These Wings has landed at the top spot on Billboard's country albums chart and at number-three on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart.
The accolades continue for the album -- it's at number-16 on Rolling Stone’s all-genre 50 Best Albums of 2016 list. Also making the list is Maren Morris with Hero clocking in at number-13 and Brandy Clark takes the 27th spot with Big Day in a Small Town. Beyonce’s Lemonade takes the number 1 spot- if you were wondering!

Michael Ray is touring more!
Brett Young scores is first #1!

Michael Ray added 10 more dates to his headlining tour after the success of the rest of the run.
He hit 14 shows in 45 days on his Think a Little Less tour- which included a stop at the Dusty Armadillo, and he’ll be kicking off the second run in January in Pennsylvania and wrapping things up in February in Georgia.

Congrats to Brett Young for scoring the #1 song this week on the Mediabase Country chart. “Sleep Without You” is Brett’s very first #1 single. In an Instagram post, Brett said he was going to sleep more fulfilled than he ever had- see what he did there!
