Garth Brooks tops Forbes' list of country's top earners for the past year. Garth's take was $90 million,
the richest single yearForbes has ever calculated for a country act.
Following in distant second is Toby Keith, who made $53 million. Jason Aldean comes in third with a $43.5 million haul.
In fourth place is Luke Bryan with $42.5 million banked, followed by Kenny Chesney's none-too-shabby $42 million paycheck.
Other top earners include Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, Zac Brown Band, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton ,Keith Urban, Eric Church, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Lady Antebellum.

Eric Church is getting his own exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Eric Church: Inside the Outsider features stage outfits, song manuscripts, photos and more from
his personal collection. The exhibit opens on September 18th and runs through February 29th.
Miranda Lambert is funding $40,000 in scholarships for women who major in music business,
songwriting or entertainment industry studies at Nashville's Belmont University.
She says, “To encourage and empower women to achieve their goals is why I am supporting outstanding
women who want to pursue their dreams in the music industry.”
The 4,428 square foot house, built in 1930, has 15 rooms, a pool, a guest house and a
separate two-car garage.
Dierks and his family have already moved to a new home.

Congrats to Alan Jackson! His album ‘Angels and Alcohol debut at #1 on the Country album chart and
at #3 on the all-genre album chart as well. He is no stranger to #1 album debuts, this marks his 14th career country
chart topper and his first since 2012!
Little Big Town are being forced to cancel more dates to allow Jimi Westbrook to fully heal after
surgery on his vocal cords.
After announcing the cancellation and postponement of some dates over the weekend,
yesterday they cancelled more.
Posted on their social media sites is a statement that says, "It is with deep regret that we must
cancel an additional three weeks of shows in August due to doctors orders for Jimi to rest and recuperate his voice.
We want to come back on the road to you guys at 110% and this additional time will make sure that happens!
Thanks again for all of your support during this time, and for your love, patience, and excitement for us to
come back! We can’t wait to see all of you."

Steven Tyler's current country single, "Love is Your Name," might be his only new music for a while.
He says that he will head back to Nashville after Aerosmith finishes the Blue Armytour on August 7th in Canton, Ohio.
His plan is to "record for two months and find a producer." Still, he's not sure if he'll be able to "finish this record this year
or the beginning of next. But we'll see. I have no idea." The album, his push into the country genre after a lifetime in rock,
will be the first under his own name.
Chase Rice is gearing up for his next headlining run this fall.
His JD and Jesus Tour will launch October 1st in Norfolk, Virginia and wrap in Phoenix, Arizona on
December 3rd. The 23-city trek will also make stops in Atlanta, Boston, New York City and Chicago.
The Cadillac Three will be along for the ride at select dates.
Brantley Gilbert scores his fourth number-one on the Mediabase chart this week with “One Hell of an Amen.” His previous number-ones are “Bottoms Up,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” and “Country Must Be Country Wide.”
He also co-wrote Jason Aldean’s number-ones “Dirt Road Anthem” and “My Kinda Party.”
Brantley is currently part of Kenny Chesney’s Big Revival stadium tour.
