It's not likely that you'll ever hear a duet between Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany, who was once a 

contestant on American Idol. 

He says, "She’s a great singer and would probably do fairly well. She had a little taste of all of that stuff. She can sing in 

the car and here in the house, but I don’t know if she cares to pursue it as a career."

Jason will be singing at Blossom on Sept 19th!

Kenny Chesney went one-on-one with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts before his sold-out shows in Philadelphia last weekend. 

Among the things they discussed were his year off to recharge his batteries, performing at stadiums 

and an epiphany he had one night. He says he wrote down about 35 things he wanted to do to make his career take off. 

Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman premieres her cooking show, Kimberly's Simply Southern, on the Cooking Channel 

on Saturday. This season's special guests include her bandmates, Kix Brooks, Brett Eldredge, Hillary Scott of 

Lady Antebellum, Jewel and Billy Currington. Kimberly's Simply Southern airs on Saturday afternoons.

Jason Aldean isn’t wasting any time after the success of Old Boots, New Dirt before getting back into the studio. 

He is currently working on his 7th studio album. He recently posted a picture on Instagram saying, 

“Back in the studio for album #7, can’t wait for you guys to hear what me and the boys are up to!”

No release date for the album, tentative or otherwise, has been shared as of yet.

Brad Paisley has gotten his own signature guitar line through Santa Cruz Guitar Company. He worked 

with the company to design the guitars and he said- "I know if someone gets one of these they are getting 

exactly what I want them to have.”

Brad's guitar sells for $5,450. 

Kacey Musgraves is designing her own line of boots -- but don't expect them to be your ordinary cowboy boots. 

She says, “I think it’s going to be all white and a short boot like I wear, but have lights scattered all over. We’re 

trying to get the electronic part figured out right now. It’s kind of complicated, and I don’t want them to be 

unaffordable. But you gotta make them work, too.”

No word on when the boots will be available. But they light up so let me be clear- I want a pair!

Nashville News: Tuesday, 7/14

The Swon Brothers are in the early stages of recording their sophomore album, which the say will be 

full of up-tempo songs.

Colton says, "We realized our fans are responding to more rocking, up-tempo stuff. You’re going to have a lot more energy on this next record. So we’ve been writing a lot of 

upbeat, energetic, in-your-face music. We’re excited to get it out there.”

No word on when the album will be out.

Kenny Rogers will release a new album for the holiday season. Titled Once Again It’s Christmas, it will 

be his sixth holiday release.
Kenny's guest stars onthe album include Alison Krauss, Jennifer Nettles, Jim Brickman and more. He will 

tour in support of the album, with dates to be announced shortly.

Kenny Chesney just keeps getting better and better and his crowds do too! His Big Revival Tour stopped in

Philadelphia over the weekend, and he performed to 55,131 fans -- breaking his own single show record.

Josh Turner has been chosen to sing "God Bless America" at Tuesday's Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The game will be played at the Great American Ballpark -- home of the Cincinnati Reds -- 

and air live on FOX.

Congrats going out the Canaan Smith on scoring his first ever #1 this week on the Mediabase chart with 

‘Love You Like That.’ This is his first single from his album Bronco, which is available now. 

Carrie Underwood had a ‘Jesus Take the Wheel’ moment over the weekend when she had to break into 

her own car to save her baby boy Isaiah and her dogs. Her dogs had inexplicably locked not only themselves 

but her five-month-old son inside the car. Carrie broke the window in order to get them all out safely.

She tweeted, "When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you 

have to break a window to get in," but all are safe.
