One of the best parts of this job is getting to hang out with you, the listeners as well as meeting the artists we play everyday in person.

Lat night at The Knight Stage, we did both! It was such a nice evening for great music by these two artists (who both sounded AWESOME) with the best listeners in the area! You helped us raise a lot of money for breast cancer which is a big help to so many people.

Not only that, I have to mention how nice of an evening it was outside for the walk to and from the venue! No cold, blowing winds...it was sunny and warm! Hope to see you next year!

Big props to Jelly Roll! He just completed a 5K race that he has been training for. That is quite an accomplishment! 

Not only that, but in the process he lost another 50 pounds in his weight loss journey! Which is totally amazing! Of course his biggest chearleader was his wife Bunnie XO. Maybe now that he has completed that one, let's get him to sign up for our 5K race this Fall! What do you think?!

There are a couple things I DIDN'T get to that I need to do. First, I need to pay my bills - those are due next week! Second is go to the grocery store. I haven't had time to do that just yet. Third, I need to completely finish unpacking and get some extra laundry done - hopefully tonight after work...fingers crossed on that one.

BUT, one thing I DID get done today before I came into work was getting the grass cut! It was such a beautiful day to do it, and it needed it BADLY! Since I was gone for over a week and it was warm, my yard was starting to look like a forest again! It was really long! I had to raise the blades in order to do a decent job. It isn't perfect, but it looks SO MUCH BETTER now than it did this morning.

I hope I can motivate myself to tackle the rest of the list tomorrow!

I'm Back! I got home yesterday evening from my vacation, and it's time to get back to work.

I went out to Southern California (San Diego) to visit family. It was so nice to just get away for a week. The weather was awesome - sunny and temps in the low to mid 70s. Only one day stayed cloudy, and one day in the low 60s was pretty chilly.

We did a lot of fun things! Plus, while I was at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library/Museum, I experienced my first Southern California earthquake! It was a pretty minor 4.1 that lasted only a couple seconds. But in the other 5 times I've been to California in my life, that has never happened before...so that was pretty cool!

If you are looking for a beautiful place to visit that you may have never been before - might I suggest San Diego? There is so much to see and do for the whole family!

Yesterday was Carly Pearce's birthday. In thanking fans for all of the birthday wishes, she had an announcement to make.

Carly let fans know that the release of her latest album "Hummingbird" has been moved up! The album that includes her duet "We Don't Fight Anymore" with Chris Stapleton will now be released on June 7th!

Along with all of the other graduates at the upcoming graduation, Toby Keith will posthumously receive an honorary degree from the University of Oklahoma. He was always a big fan and supporter of the Sooners.
