It is Drive In Day!

You have less a week to get signed up for the WQMX Summer Bowling League at Turkeyfoot Lanes in Akron! The lanes are filling up and I want to see you there!

There’s the bowling, prizes, the weekly 50/50 and there will be WQMX Send Me Backstage Tshirt and Ticket Stop happening a few Wednesdays while we are out there. We are starting things this Wednesday, June 12th with a Zac Brown Band Ticket Stop, so make sure you are a part of this!

This is something you can make a Girl’s Night Out, a Guy’s Night or a Family Fun Night! You are looking for stuff to do anyway, maybe even a fun night out- and it is Wednesdays from 7-9pm!

The cost is just $13 a week and that includes your shoe rental and 3 games. They also have a fun patio you can check out too! This is going to be a fun summer, so make sure you get in and let’s bowl! Then there will be a banquet at the end and everyone will get a league tshirt.

Jennifer Nettles to release an EP…
CMT Music Award winners…

Jennifer Nettles announced this week she is releasing a surprise new EP this Friday. It shares the same name with her recent single “I Can Do Hard Things.” Other than that, JNett isn’t giving much more info.
She did post on Instagram saying, “Some of the songs are confessional, some are saucy, all of them are fun explorations for me.”

Love won at last night’s CMT Music Awards. Carrie Underwood was the night's only multiple award winner as her video for “Love Wins” took home Female Video of  the Year and Video of the Year.
The other big winners included Kane Brown's "Lose It," which was named Male Video of the Year; Zac Brown Band's "Someone I Used to Know," won the Group Video of the Year and Dan and Shay's "Speechless," was was named Duo Video of the Year.

Donut Day Deals and Freebies

Donut Day is this Friday!

There is a new gym in town, Get Fit 24! You can find it just down the road from the station at 2695 West Market St. in Fairlawn. It is now open and you can stop in and see all the great equipment from weight machines to free weights and all the cardio.

Get Fit 24 is the sister gym, as in the same owners as my gym Forever Fitness 24 in Akron. These are great people opening another great gym in our community.

I went and got a workout in yesterday because I need to start purging the carbs from my vacation in Chicago. The place was clean, well set up and has all the things you need. Go check them out. You can find them right off Market in Fairlawn in the Marc’s plaza.

Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini are back to hosting…

Randy Houser will headline his Magnolia tour this fall. 
His friend Paul Cauthen will open the shows, which kick off on October 24th in Dallas, and additional support acts will be announced soon. Tickets go on sale this Friday. 

Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini will return as hosts of CMA Fest: The Music Event of the Summer for the third time.
The three-hour special brings fans all the music, events and excitement of the festival that is going on right now in Nashville. It airs on August 4th on ABC.
