I had a lovely weekend spending time in the East Bank of the Flats. We went for an early dinner at Lindey's Lake House.

Saturday was Rose' Day, so I had a glass- naturally and then our server recommended the Chilean Sea Bass. Oh my goodness- I was delicious. As in, I can't wait to go back and get it again! I highly recommend it as well. The views are worth a trip as well.

It was a beautiful, sunny day. A bit cooler than what we have been used to, but I was with my sister and we enjoyed the time outside. The patio was full, but socially distant and it was a nice day.

Call them Lady A...
Garth Brooks is headed to the drive-in...

Lady Antebellum is changing its name to Lady A--the nickname fans gave them from the beginning.
The change is the result of recent unrest surrounding racism in this country.
They write, When we set out together almost 14 years ago, we named our band after the southern “antebellum” style home where we took our first photos. As musicians, it reminded us of all the music born in the south that influenced us…Southern Rock, Blues, R&B, Gospel and of course Country. But we are regretful and embarrassed to say that we did not take into account the associations that weigh down this word referring to the period of history before The Civil War, which includes slavery.

Garth Brooks will stage what will be the largest ever one-night show to play at outdoor theaters across the U.S. and Canada!

Garth announced plans to stage a concert event at 300 drive-in theaters across North America on one night – June 27, and the show will be created exclusively for this once-in-a-lifetime event.

He said, “I’ve missed it so much. All I want to do is play!”
Tickets for Garth’s drive-in concert event will go on sale Friday, June 19. This is where you’ll be able to find drive-in theaters in the area. It will cost you $100 per car or truck. You can get more details at Ticketmaster.

Chuck E. Cheese is in Trouble!

Chuck E. Cheese is on the verge of going bankrupt due to the pandemic- like many other businesses.

They are $1 billion in debt and trying to get a loan from lenders to stay open. They have over 600 stores in 47 states. They like many franchises right now, they are struggling.

I loved this place when I was growing up, and with the ball pits, and skee ball and such close quarters- I get that people are probably not rushing back in quite yet. I will also admit, I do enjoy their pizza. I have been there in recent years for friend's kid's parties and the pie is quite tasty. I will get down and play some heated games of skee ball and make it rain tickets for a glow ring or two! The memories are abundant at Chuck E. Cheese.

We can't forget about Chuck himself. When the band comes out and plays Dancing on the Ceiling. That is a great moment.

I get that times are super difficult right now and businesses will close, but the Cheese man!
