Charley Pride is getting a biopic...

1883, the streaming series starring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, posted huge tune-in numbers for Paramount Plus. 
The series debut on Sunday shattered records which made 1883 the biggest new series premiere on cable since 2015.

A bio-pic on the life of the late Charley Pride is being produced by Dennis Quaid.
Dennis will play Cowboy Jack Clement, who wrote and recorded with Charley. No word on who will play Charley.

Congratulations go out to Dustin Lynch and MacKenzie Porter. The pair's collaboration, "Thinking 'Bout You," claims the top spot on the Mediabase country singles chart for a second week.

It's official. Over the weekend, Trisha Yearwood invited Lauren Alaina to become the next member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Before Trisha could actually get the words out, Lauren realized what was happening and dropped to her knees in tears. Lauren made her Opry debut in 2011.
