Kane Brown is at #1...
Kane is going to the VMAs...

Congratulations go out to Kane Brown as he lands this week's Mediabase number-one with his hit "Like I Love Country Music."

Kane Brown will be the first male country artist to perform on the MTV Video Music Awards. 
Kane isn't nominated for an award this year, but his video for "Worldwide Beautiful" was a contender for the Video for Good award last year. 
The awards will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on August 28th.

Darius to tell stories...

Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain, Morgan Wallen and the TV show Yellowstone will be saluted at the 15th annual ACM Honors. 
The show, hosted by Carly Pearce will features performances by Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, The Warren Brothers, Dan + Shay, Jordan Davis, Ernest, Vince Gill, Hardy, Wynonna Judd, Avril Lavigne, Little Big Town, Carly Pearce, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson and more. 
ACM Honors will be taped on August 24th at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and air on FOX on September 13th.

Darius Rucker will be featured on an installment of CMT's Storytellers. 
During the show, he will perform and tell stories about his time as a country artist, as well as frontman for Hootie and the Blowfish. 

CMT Storytellers featuring Darius Rucker premieres on August 31st.
