Kane is going to the VMAs...

Congratulations go out to Kane Brown as he lands this week's Mediabase number-one with his hit "Like I Love Country Music."

Kane Brown will be the first male country artist to perform on the MTV Video Music Awards. 
Kane isn't nominated for an award this year, but his video for "Worldwide Beautiful" was a contender for the Video for Good award last year. 
The awards will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on August 28th.
