Earlier this week, Carrie Underwood posted a video on Instagram of her hockey-playing husband singing along to Garth Brooks's "The River" on the radio. Garth saw it and issued an invitation 

to Mike on his ownInstagram feed. Garth wrote," Bro, that is AWESOME! I HAVE to call you out after that... Nashville 

is the last city on the American leg of the world tour... You and me, on stage, 'The River.' You in?"

So far, no date has been announced for the Nashville show.

The future of country trio Gloriana is in doubt as singer Rachel Reinert has decided to leave the group. In a post on 

Twitter, Rachel thanked fans as well as Tom and Mike Gossin before revealing what’s next for her.

She wrote, “This was not an easy decision, nor one that I took lightly, but I felt that it was time for me to move on and 

follow my heart. I sincerely wish Tom and Mike all the best.”

She also announced she is currently working on her first album as a solo country artist.

Blake Shelton is the voice of a pig named Earl in The Angry Birds Movie, which will reach theaters nationwide 

on May 20th.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Blake hit a roadblock when he was asked to come up with a song for the 

animated film. 

He says, “I can write things about myself and my life. But I don’t have a whole lot of experience being shot out of 

a slingshot at pigs.”

He adds, “They kept saying, ‘More country!’ I felt like I was doing a voice-over for Dukes of Hazzard.”

A Kenny Chesney concert could save somebody's life -- literally.

25 fans who attended Kenny's tour last summer have been identified as positive bone marrow donors for patients 

suffering from blood cancers across the world. 

He teamed up with Love Hope Strength Foundation’s Get on the List campaign, which tested willing fans at shows by 

taking a swab sample from their mouths. Kenny says, “I can’t believe they’ve found 25 matches, but I couldn’t be prouder 

for the fans who come out and live these songs with us.”

Kenny's next trek, the Spread the Love tour, kicks off on April 23rd in Auburn, Alabama.
