Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren, are expecting their first child, a baby boy. In a recent interview, he mentioned that his wife shut him down real fast when he suggested a name that he thought was "cool."
Rambo Lane. Yes he was just kidding, but he thought it would be a great name should he ever become a professional baseball player. Wow, not the time for jokes, Chris!
In all seriousness Chris did say they have a good idea of what the name is gonna be, but they haven't for sure settled on it yet.

Last night was a night a long time in the making! It was the return of the WQMX Rising Star Showcase! Nate Barnes, a country newcomer came to town and brought with him the return of live music. He is lovely, a true delight. He is talented and he has a great song that we are playing called “You Ain't Pretty.”

Throughout this entire year plus of no live music, no concerts, no events, we have all said- soon we will be together again. Last night it happened. With about 30 listeners, we gathered again. No, it wasn't a huge show, we didn't get to get rowdy, but it was wonderful! This is only the beginning! The start of many more shows to come! YAY!
