CMT Music Awards are tonight...

Brett Young has just released "Long Way Home," a song he wrote for the movie Father Stu starring Mark Wahlberg. 
He says, “I met Mark at a golf tournament a few months ago. We connected pretty quickly and he told me about an incredible project he was working on and asked if I’d be up for writing a song to capture the spirit of the movie."
The movie hits theaters on Wednesday. 

More artists have been added to the list of performers for tonight's  CMT Music Awards. 
Jason Aldean will perform with Bryan Adams, Jimmie Allen, Monica and Little Big Town will collaborate on a song, Thomas Rhett will be joined by Riley Green, and Walker Hayes will perform solo. Kenny Chesney will close the show with “Beer in Mexico.”
The CMT Music Awards, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and actor Anthony Mackie, will air live tonight on CBS, and stream live and on-demand on Paramount Plus.

Tyler Rich was at the Dusty Armadillo over the weekend and it has been 4 years since the last time he played there.

We brought him in for one of our shows back in 2018, and he was good then, but he is great now! The show was big, upbeat and he knew how to work the crowd.

Yes, I always have fun at the Dusty shows, but there was something different about this one. Everything just lined up right and I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Sure, it helped that he likes White Claw, but it was just a great time all around!

Carrie Underwood has a new album...

Kenny Chesney is deep in rehearsals for his upcoming 2022 Here and Now tour, and he's making some changes.
In a press release, Kenny reveals that he is taking some of his hits off of the 26-song setlist.
The 2022 Here and Now tour kicks off April 23rd in Tampa, Florida and stops at Blossom on June 9th!

Carrie Underwood announced she will release a new album Denim and Rhinestones on June 10. The project features her latest single Ghost Story.

Last night, us gals from the radio station attended the Akron Canton Go Red For Women banquet. This is always a great evening and it was so nice to all be back together and raising money for the American Heart Association.

We got to hear stories from survivors, learn awareness and get infomation about heart disease that is the number one killer of women. 1 in 3 women suffer from heart disease. It is always a lovely evening.
