GRAMMY Awards: Country's Big Winners

It was a big night Sunday for Lainey Wilson, who not only attended her first GRAMMY Awards, but also took home her first trophy for Best Country Album (Bell Bottom Country).

Chris Stapleton took home two GRAMMYs-- one for Best Country Song with co-writer Dan Wilson and the other for Best Country Solo Performance, both for "White Horse." In addition, Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves landed their own Best Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration "I Remember Everything."

One of the best performances of the night came when Tracy Chapman joined Luke Combs on stage to perform their chart topping hit "Fast Car."

The Full MNF Performance

Up until now, I have only seen the teaser video online, but a friend shared the whole video for the Monday Night Football performance and it gives me chills. The new Monday Night Football anthem played in it's entirety before the Cleveland Browns took on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sadly, the game was a loss for us, but this performance from Chris Stapleton, Snoop Dogg and Cindy Blackman Santana was a win!

Carly Pearce has announced the follow up to her #1 single "What He Didn't Do" and it features Chris Stapleton! Carly co-wrote the new single alongside frequent collaborator Shane McAnally and Pete Good. This marks the first new music since her critically-acclaimed third studio album 29: WRITTEN IN STONE.

“I’ve always wanted to write music that makes people feel something – whether that is feeling seen, less alone, happy or even uncomfortable. ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore’ felt like I was writing one of those stories that, whether or not we want to include it in our social media highlight reel, we’ve either been there or are living there right now,” Carly says of the song’s origins in a press release. “Having Chris Stapleton join me on this song was a dream come true and he unlocked an element to the story that I didn’t even know it needed.”

Chris Stapleton's next single will be "Joy Of My Life" from his album Starting Over. It was written by John Fogerty to his wife Julie, and appeared on his solo album Blue Moon Swamp. It's easy to hear why Chris would cover this song when you listen to it!

Chris will be singing this one at Blossom Music Center on Thursday, July 7th with special guests Elle King and Madeline Edwards, click here for tickets!
