With Memorial Day Weekend fast coming up, many of us will be grilling. I found these helpful, healthy tips online. but maybe you will just eat what you want ;)

Tips for Healthier Grilling

- Choose Lean Meat

- Grill Fish over red meat

- Avoid processed meats, sausage and hot dogs

- Don't overcook- charred meats have the highest amount of cancerous compounds

- Use marinades and spices- prevents the formation of bad chemicals while cooking

- Portion Control

- Grill More Fruits and Veggies

- Choose Healthy Side Dishes

- Use Whole Grain Buns

- Add Alcohol- again it decreases the carcinogen levels in grilled meats
