Today is National Chili Day!
I love chili, as do so many. I say bring on the meat and beans. Here is what I do.
I start with about 3 pounds of ground beef, brown it up. In a huge pot, I add some hot and spicy V8, add the meat, add tons of beans- my motto is, the more beans the better. Yes, I add onions, a few stewed tomatoes and some seasoning and that's it.
Then I reheat it for about 5 days and eat and eat! Top with cheese, some sour cream. I am in chili heaven!
