Macy's in Stow-Kent is closing. The store has been a part of that community for over 55 years!

No exact date has been given for when the doors will close for good. They did say a clearance sale will begin at the end of this month and run for about 8 to 12 weeks, so the store could close in about 2 to 3 months.

I used to shop at this Macy's all the time during college as it is just a hop skip from Kent State's campus. It is sad to see another store close- again another victim to online shopping I am sure.
