Luke Combs, "What You See Is What You Get" Review

Written by

Luke Combs done did it again. He is back with his sophomore album “What You See Is What You Get” and yep, it is amazing.

With a number one already, “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” and other one on it’s way “Even Though I’m Leaving,” this offering includes 15 other tracks that could of course all be #1s. He once again shows he knows how to write and sing a country song.

I have a lot of favorites, but a few stick out: “Refrigerator Door,” “Moon Over Mexico,” “1,2 Many,” “New Every Day,” “Dear Today,” and “Angels Workin’ Overtime.” Yeah, I basically like them all. He shows he can sing an upbeat drinking song and a heartfelt one that gives you all the feels.

Needless to say, I am happy that we have Luke Combs and he is making fantastic country music. Get. This. Album. Put it on repeat.

He will be at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Saturday. The show is sold out. Fear not, we have 3 ticket stops this week. Details on our home page!
