First Sears in Canton, now Kmart in North Canton and in Tallmadge are set to close. The announcement was made yesterday that Sears and Kmart will close 96 stores including those 2 in our area by February.

The reason given- declining sales. Yep. The closing locations will have their going out of business sales beginning on December 2.
