Oftentimes, for me, it's safety second. I could do a much better job at preserving and protecting myself in many a setting, and today I was taught a lesson. 

I'll spare you the details, but I nipped myself with my angle grinder cutoff wheel and had a pretty serious wound. I'm okay, and my finger is too, but it sure freaked me out. After a visit to the hospital, there's nothing left now but to give it time to heal and count my blessings. You know, a tool like that is totally unforgiving, and I'm lucky to still have all my digits intact. 

Please take this as a reminder to stay safe on whatever you do. Gear up and do things properly or you may pay the consequences.
