Mary Chapin Carpenter and Naomi Judd are among the first inductees into the Women's Songwriters Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C.
Naomi says, “It’s always gratifying when someone acknowledges your best efforts. I love expressing my deepest feelings and being celebrated among other accomplished songwriters."

Lauren Alaina will release her first book, Getting Good at Being You: Learning to Love Who God Made You to Be on November 2nd. 
The book gets the stamp of approval from Trisha Yearwood, who wrote the foreword.
