The Billboard nominations are out…

Blake Shelton has a TV show in the works. He is working with people in Nashville and Hollywood on a scripted drama based on his song God’s Country. The show, which will be called In God’s Country has a script to NBC, and would focus on a farm family in the Midwest. The patriarch of the family dies and the adult children discover he was keeping a secret from them.

Luke Combs and Maren Morris lead the country nominees for the Billboard Music Awards with four nods each. They are followed by Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown and Dan + Shay who have three nominations each. 
The Billboard Music Awards hosted by Kelly Clarkson air live from Los Angeles on October 14th on NBC.
