Carrie Underwood just released another single to radio, this one is called "Hate My Heart". This is her second single from her latest project Denim & Rhinestones. Carrie co-wrote the new song with HARDY and songwriters Hillary Lindsey and David Garcia, and is about trying to get over a break up where in her head she is over him, but her heart is not.

Last week, Carrie Underwood posted a picture of herself in the studio to social media, which could only mean one thing, right? New music was coming!

Then on Monday, after a weekend of celebrating her birthday, she gave us the gift of the official announcement that she would be releasing a new song on Friday. That song is "Ghost Story", which Carrie describes as "a different take on a revenge song" in a press release. "Instead of smashing headlights, this scorned lover is letting her ex know that she will continue to haunt him no matter how hard he tries to forget her.”

New Music From Carrie Underwood!

Carrie Underwood premiered this song earlier this month at the ACM Awards (along with tour mates Maddie & Tae and Runaway June joining her for the performance), and now it is officially her next single from her album Cry Pretty! "Southbound" is a fun, upbeat song that one might call their summer anthem! What do you think, you rolling down your windows for this one?

First, we have to flashback to March 5th when Little Big Town invited Kelsea Ballerini to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. After Kelsea's performance, Little Big Town took to the stage to close out the show and invited her back on stage to sing "Girl Crush" with them. The lyrics changed just slightly at the end, watch the moment again below:

Second flashback is this past Tuesday (April 16) when Kelsea officially became the newest and youngest member of the Opry, being inducted by Carrie Underwood. Not only did Carrie officially introduce and induct her, but they sang a duet together. Check out their cover of this Trisha Yearwood classic, "Walkaway Joe"!

Congratulations again to Kelsea Ballerini, it is quite an honor and accomplishment to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry!
