The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Museum in Canton has teamed up with a company called SignGlasses LLC to offer special glasses to guests that are hard-of-hearing or deaf to wear while they tour the many attractions at the Hall.

The 'smart glasses' sync with certain attractions to provide captions for the accompanying displays and videos.  Use of the glasses is free during visits upon request.

The Cinemark Movies 10 in the Belden Village/Jackson Twp. area will be closed from now until December while it undergoes renovations to bring a different kind of Movie-Going experience to the area: a Movie Bistro.

The Ten Theater movie house will reduce from ten screens to nine so a full service kitchen can be installed in the former tenth theater.  There will be a full menu, that also includes adult beverages, that patrons can order from in the lobby and then have their food delivered to them in their seat before the movie starts.  New reclining seats with seat warmers and swivel tables will also be installed.

In addition to these changes, the theater will also offer First-Run movies rather than the discounted older flicks that were available for many years.

While this may be a dream come true for some, it could also be a nightmare for others that may not want to have the added distraction of a large variety of food smells and the sounds of people eating while they try to enjoy a movie.

For all the details, including some of the featured new menu items, CLICK HERE for the full article from The Canton Repository Entertainment Editor, and good friend of mine, Dan Kane.
