Downtown Akron to get 15' tall statue honoring Rubber Workers

In September of 2020, The City of Akron plans to dedicate a new, 15' tall, bronze statue of a Rubber Worker in the center of the new Round-a-bout that is going in at Main and Mill. Since 1994, Motorcycle Riders from Northeast Ohio have been participating in The Caravan Kid's Teddy Bear Ride to bring toys and smiles to kids at Akron Children's Hospital. This years ride started in Dover at Adventure Harley-Davidson and the cost to participate was simply a New Toy to donate to kids at ACH.
