staff tim homeA veteran broadcaster and no stranger to the airwaves to Akron listeners. Lynn joined WQMX in 2007 and after working in many formats. she’s settled into the country music format nicely.

Born and raised in Akron, on North Hill. Lynn feels fortunate to have grow up with family all around. Getting started in radio took her out of the area for several years, but she never left Ohio. Lynn is proud to have worked for 3 great radio station in Akron, WKDD, The Summit and now WQMX.

Lynn resides on the west side with husband Ray. They are now empty nester's and soon to be first time grandparents. Daughter Olivia and husband Rupert are expecting a child and reside in the U.K. Son Andrew moved to New York during the pandemic and is now floor manager at Dover Street Market in Manhattan.  The last 'child' in the house is sheepdoodle Charlie!

Working with many charities has been at the core of her career and was honored by the American Cancer Society with a National award for Volunteer of the Year for her 20+ years of service.

Lynn loves spending the heart of the day on the radio, keeping you company while you’re at work or at home. She also hosts the daily feature 'The All Request Country Buffet.' Look for Hunter Moon this weekend

The weather has been so beautiful this week with sunshine in the day time and clear skies at night. This weekend look for the   Big Orange Hunter's Moon...It is the first full moon following the autumnal equinox and the Harvest Moon. Saturday weather is calling for rain, however, Friday night and Sunday should provide for a good view.  One of my favorite things to do is look up at the night sky.  Enjoy !

The 20th Annual Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk netted 120 thousand dollars this weekend. I have been a part of the event since it's inaugural year!  Akron should be proud, they out do many other big cities right here in Ohio!  Proud to be from Akron.  This money will go towards research, and the many programs that support those battling breast cancer.  Remember, you are not alone!  
Please join me in th 20th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk this Sunday oct. 6th. We start at Lock 3 downtown Akron. Registration is at 8am, the walk steps off at 10am.

Buckeyes win!

I remember growng up on North Hill and my best girlfriends mother ws a master at make the wonderful Buckeye treat! Josh Turner's Tour bus crashes

Josh Turner's tour bus crashed near Paso Robles in California.  The bus reportedly veered off the highway  and went down an embankment.  One person was fatally injured with 7 others going to the hospital.  Josh was not on this bus.
