Cosmo offers some tech-savvy relationship faux paus to avoid that may send the wrong signals to someone you are involved with or if to someone you may want to be involved with:

Texting too much:  Blowing up his phone with random questions can come off as annoying.

Boozing and texting: We're all guilty of it. But rekindling a romance is best done off the sauce.

Posting flirty pics on Facebook: Posting hot pictures of yourself means you're sharing your sexiness with the entire social network, leaving nothing special for him.

"Like" the wrong page:
Joining a Facebook group like "I Hate Men Who Are Liars and Cheaters" while your in a relationship can attract negative attention

Get mad, update your status and say: "I hate when men think they can just do whatever they want and get away with it." Arguments should be kept private.

You're relationship status isn't listed: If you are in a relationship and don't say you are he might think you want te world to think you are single and looking

Halloween candy seems to be everywhere...here are a few tips to cut the amount of Halloween candy you eat.

According to a study, you should keep empty wrappers in plain sight while eating your Halloween candy.

Brian Wansink, author of Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think, said that study participants ate almost half as many Halloween candies when they kept the wrappers in sight.

"Having a visual reminder of how much they ate, keeps you honest and eating less," Wansink said. "Your stomach can't count but your eyes can when they seen the empty wrappers."

Wansink also advised that instead of putting out a bowl of Halloween candy on an office desk at work or at home next to the sofa, it should be placed across the room because people will eat less if they have to get up and walk.

It’s a lot of work being a girl. Doing your hair and makeup every day is exhausting enough, but add in all the other tasks to make us feel and look our best, and it’s a huge time commitment, and quite frankly, a pain in the butt! To make life a little easier, here are some practical beauty tips every girl should know and pass on to their besties:

  • Need to dry your nails quickly? Lightly spray cooking spray (like Pam) on them and your manicure will be dry in a flash!

  • Use an aspirin mask to eliminate an unwanted break out. Smash up a couple of aspirin and add a few teaspoons of water to create a paste. Spread the paste on the affected area and let sit for 10 minutes – you should see results immediately!

  • If your hair is super out of control frizzy or you haven’t washed it in a day and it needs some freshening up, rub a dryer sheet over your hair – it will leave it smelling fresh and get rid of all your flyaways!

  • Hate it when your fake jewelry turns green? Put a coat of clear nail polish on all your favorite fakes and they will stay silver forever!

  • Don’t have makeup remover and your longwearing lipstick and waterproof mascara won’t come off? Dab some olive oil on a cotton ball and makeup be gone!

According to a new study, Americans are big, fat, gullible dummies.

Researchers from the University of Michigan found that the eating habits of people are manipulated in a big way by marketing, advertising and fashion industries.

We go by what labels tell us instead of what our bodies tell us. Also, if we believe we are eating “light” because of a package, we actually feel as if we didn't eat as much – which leads us to eat more later, making us gain even more weight.

Consumers are also manipulated by “vanity sizing” in the clothing industry. What used to be a size 8 in the 1950s became a size 4 in the 1970s and a zero in 2006.

This leads us to think we are a much smaller size than we really are.
