Halloween candy seems to be everywhere...here are a few tips to cut the amount of Halloween candy you eat.
According to a study, you should keep empty wrappers in plain sight while eating your Halloween candy.
Brian Wansink, author of Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think, said that study participants ate almost half as many Halloween candies when they kept the wrappers in sight.
"Having a visual reminder of how much they ate, keeps you honest and eating less," Wansink said. "Your stomach can't count but your eyes can when they seen the empty wrappers."
Wansink also advised that instead of putting out a bowl of Halloween candy on an office desk at work or at home next to the sofa, it should be placed across the room because people will eat less if they have to get up and walk.
It’s a lot of work being a girl. Doing your hair and makeup every day is exhausting enough, but add in all the other tasks to make us feel and look our best, and it’s a huge time commitment, and quite frankly, a pain in the butt! To make life a little easier, here are some practical beauty tips every girl should know and pass on to their besties:
According to a new study, Americans are big, fat, gullible dummies.
Researchers from the University of Michigan found that the eating habits of people are manipulated in a big way by marketing, advertising and fashion industries.
We go by what labels tell us instead of what our bodies tell us. Also, if we believe we are eating “light” because of a package, we actually feel as if we didn't eat as much – which leads us to eat more later, making us gain even more weight.
Consumers are also manipulated by “vanity sizing” in the clothing industry. What used to be a size 8 in the 1950s became a size 4 in the 1970s and a zero in 2006.
This leads us to think we are a much smaller size than we really are.

Signs He’s The One (from a girl's perspective)
You are proud of him. You want to show him off to your family and friends and throw dinner parties. and you want him to be the guest of honor
He brings little drama to your life. Your life is easier because of him. You feel supported in all ways (and we are not talking about money)
He encourages you to be successful. He isn't threatened, insecure or wants you to be a stay at home mommy (unless that is what you want).
You trust him ‘Nuff said.
Sexual Chemistry ‘ Nuff said again
He doesn’t care if you gain 5 or 10 pounds (not 30 or 50 though because that’s unhealthy outside of being pregnant)
He makes you laugh Sometimes humor the only thing that gets us through life.
He dates you. He still takes you out. Wines and dines you. Makes you feel special.
You never worry about where he is. He checks in with you and is considerate about being late or where he is going to be

Signs She’s The One (from a guy's perspective)
Your life is better when she's around. Things start to click. You land that new job. She helps you get your stuff organized. She just makes you want to be a better person.
Your close buddies and family can't help but be charmed by her. You can all hang out and she holds her own
She's motivated and handles her business. Somebody who can handle her business is somebody who you can rely on.
She has your back. It means so much to know that your partner is in your corner and you owe it to her to be in hers. Feeling supported makes a world of difference.
She calls you on your shit. Theflip side. Somebody who cares for you wants to you succeed. She gives you honest feedback. She plays devil's advocate.
You trust her, but you are still a bit jealous. I used to brag that I was never jealous about my girlfriend. Now I realize that a little bit of jealousy is not a bad thing. I like the thought that I have to work to keep my relationship going, and I like knowing that people out there think my girlfriend is hot. At the same time, I don't want her to actually cheat on me....I just like the idea that she is desired, but I'm enough of a stud that she is gonna stick around. It's an ego game, I guess. But I think a bit of jealousy (note: I'm not talking insane, angry jealousy here...) shows you care.
She is funny. This is so important. Dating somebody without a sense of humor or even a wildly different sense of humor, is torture. If she laughs at your jokes, and you at hers, she is probably a keeper.
She is in the same place as you. In my experience, timing and location can impact relationships more than just about anything else. Does she want to travel the world? Is she stable? Does she just want something casual? Is she interested in having kids? Is she religious? A lot of these questions can be deal-breakers, and the more you have in common the better.
You have sexual chemistry. This is critical. She isn't your friend, she's your romantic partner. If the sex isn't happening,it may not be,
She makes you feel...like a natural man. I'm not naturally a terrifically manly man. Also, I look good in a suit. In a lot of ways, however, I can be pretty effete and/or childlike. Consequently, it is important to me to be in a relationship with somebody who doesn't constantly emasculate me. Even the most liberal, bicycle-riding, hippy-dippy, skinny-jeans wearing, bi-curious dandy likes to feel like a high-status man sometimes.
