Zola is a special girl with some special needs. This beautiful and deserving dog needs a kind and understanding home. This is a dog that wouldn't eat or drink or walk. She laid in her own waste out of fear of moving. She has spent over 1 month with a staff member (in her home) and has improved dramatically. Once a submissive voider, she now can hold her urine when spoken to. Routine and structure is important to her and her foster Mom will be happy to share her story of progress with you. We'd like her to go directly from her foster Mom's home to yours. To send her back to the shelter would set her back in her growth. Though she tolerates other dogs well, she will do best in a home as an only dog because she wants YOU all to herself. She has a history of bonding to her handler only and we expect this behavior to continue once she is in a home. She is a needy dog so if you are a nurturer, she is your girl! Don't delay ... give this girl a home today! And, she will reward you with an unconditional love that you've never known. So grateful ... so sweet. Because she is special, we are asking that interested parties email
