WQMX will host an exclusive VIP experience with Hunter Hayes LIVE in the WQMX concert room, Thursday, August 28th at Noon. Wynn and Wilson will host this intimate event which will include a Q&A with Hunter, a meet and greet with photos and Hunter will perform a couple songs….and we will bro [ ... ]
Ace is special in many ways. First, he is a "love" and a cuddle bug. Secondly, he is kind and agreeable. Thirdly, he is vision impaired - not blind but definitely vision impaired. None of this makes him flawed. In fact, we loved him immediately and he loved us too. At one point during his photo-shoot he sat on my lap as if he was a tiny lap dog. This young boy weighs in at approximately 38-40 pounds and is full grown. He will do fine in any home and getting acclimated won't be a problem at all. He is still a young dog with a lot of living to do. Can he do it with you?
Note: Please keep in mind that all adoptable pets need time to decompress once they enter a home. For some it will happen quickly and for others it might take a few weeks. You'll want to be understanding of what they have been through and their level of insecurity. We ask that you treat all of them as if they were an 8 week old puppy. Assume they know nothing and begin at step one. You'll soon know what they are capable of and what behaviors you will need to work on with your new family member. It's called commitment! And, that's what these pets want more than anything!

All age appropriate cats and dogs are given a one year Rabies Vaccination, are being treated with Fenbendazole for most common intestinal parasites, are given Nitenpyram for fleas and receive intranasal Bordetella.

Note: Dogs - and cats - are spayed or neutered before leaving the facility. Dogs over 6 months of age will be tested for heartworm before they are adopted. All of the above is included in the adoption fee.
