Dan + Shay not only announced a new album, but they released the first single from that album! "Save Me The Trouble" is the lead single from their fifth studio album 'Bigger Houses' that will be released on 9/15. Click here to pre-save!

Featuring an ascending melody that builds into an explosive chorus, “Save Me The Trouble” showcases a sound indicative of the new record’s direction that emphasizes a more live, stripped-down feel. “I don't think I've ever been prouder of a song that I am this one,” Dan Smyers said in a press release. “We wanted to have something that was a real moment, and when we started writing this, it felt like it could be something big. I wanted every section to build, and even in the second chorus, when you're like, ‘Okay, there's no way it could possibly get any crazier,’ then Shay takes off even further.”

Dan + Shay will be sharing a couple of new tracks live next Friday (7/21) as part of the star-studded lineup for this summer’s Citi Concert Series on TODAY. They were also recently announced as coaches for season 25 of NBC’s Emmy-winning program The Voice, they will join Reba McEntire, John Legend and Chance the Rapper in Spring 2024 as the first-ever coaching duo in the show’s history.

Next From Nate Smith: World On Fire

Nate Smith sent his next single to radio, his follow up to his debut #1 single "Whiskey on You". Nate says "'World On Fire' is about when a relationship is ending, all of the things that can come with it. Sometimes you've got friendships that were built around that relationship, you've got places that you used to love to go like bars and different scenes and stuff, and it's really challenging when you break up because those places are now kinda taboo to walk into. That's really what the song is about is how to pick up the debris after everything has fallen apart."

Lainey Wilson recently scored a couple of #1's with her single "Heart Like A Truck" and "wait in the truck", her duet with HARDY. She's ready to climb up the charts again, this time with her song "Watermelon Moonshine" from her album Bellbottom Country.

Lainey says "Watermelon Moonshine" is a nostalgic song about getting buzzed on that young wild crazy kind of love. A time in your life when nothing else mattered except for the way that you were feeling in that moment.

Chase Rice has sent a new single to country radio. "Bad Day To Be A Cold Beer" can be found on his new album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell. Chase says about his new single, "“Bad Day To Be a Cold Beer," pretty simple. Pretty simple title, but Justin Thomas, the golfer walked up to me at the Troubadour in Nashville, and we were golfing one day, and he said "boys, it’s a bad day to be a cold beer." And that’s it, I just wrote it down I was like "damn I’m writing that." So, we ended up having an awesome day that day. A bunch of country music singers were around, a bunch of golfers, Spieth showed up. We just had an awesome day. I think at one point we had like 30 guys on a tee box. Every tight end in the NFL was there for something they had going in Nashville. So, that was the worst day to possibly ever be a cold beer, cause I think we drank every one in Tennessee that day."

Next From Luke Combs: Love You Anyway

Luke Combs had asked fans to help him decide his next single, it was up to "Love You Anyway" and "5 Leaf Clover", and the fans have spoken. His next single will be the former of the two choices.

He announced the winning song at his show in Nashville over the weekend telling the crowd, "So, about a week and a half ago, I guess. I announced that I was going to let you guys decide what my next single was going to be at country radio. And we had a vote. You could vote on Love You Anyway or 5 Leaf Clover. Which one you wanted me to put out to the radio and it was real close. I think it was 51%-49% So it was neck in neck. But the song we’re about to play you right now is the winner. I got my friend Wes from Flatland Calvary on the fiddle playing for us. So yeah, this is my next single at country radio it’s called Love You Anyway."

Luke said about his next radio single, "Love You Anyway is a song that I wrote on my porch with Dan Isbell, Ray Fulcher and I had been on stage Valentine’s Day of 2020 right before COVID happened. And my wife was sick and was on the bus. She was out with us, but she was on the bus, I believe, and I didn’t know at the time if she was in there or not. And so as I was introing another song, I said, you know, I don’t I don’t know if you’re in here, but I love you anyways. And my buddy Dan had wrote that down and we ended up writing it a few months later."

I don’t care who you are or what you do, we all have our differences and we sometimes get on each other’s nerves, but you still are somebody. Everyone is someone in this world and it takes literally every one of us to make it go around.’ So, ‘Nobody’s Nobody’ was inspired by that.”
